Une expérience (Le télescope) qui en vaut la peine. Les jeunes qui animent la soirée sont super passionnés et intéressants. Il y a 4 différents télescopes pour observer différentes choses dans le ciel. En été, il faut y aller tard car le soleil ne se couche jamais !

Une expérience digne des années 2010. Un bon documentaire sur l'astronomie à la télé est mieux.

IT WAS AMAZING!!! I did the combo and have no regrets at all. Katlyn's story-telling was fantastic I was so locked in! Sophie, Safari, and other amazing staff members (I’m sorry I’m bad at names, but I did the 6:45 pm tour on 6/11/2024) were very kind and made big efforts to show me the stars on a cloudy windy day. And I did get to see a lot! I had an amazing time and I would definitely come again for sure! Thank you for such an unforgettable memory 💖

This was such a fun experience. We did the Planetarium and Dark Sky Telescope tour. (They have others you can book too). We got to Fairmont Lodge early to wander thr grounds as they have stunning views from the lake. Lodge was classic style lodge and lovely inside.
The main even, however, the Planetarium and Telescope Tour was fantastic. The tour guides were so knowledgeable and friendly, they answered lots of questions. The Planetarium was a lovely show about the stars, and light pollution which was fascinating. They had additional tents with different scientific information about meteors and gases causing different colours in the skies. Looking at stars through the telescopes were really fun, got to see Venus, and The Big Dipper. We did, unfortunately, have some slouds blocking some of the stars but was still amazing.

Definitely wrap up warm as it can get cold at night in Jasper!

Really great staff. Pretty cool telescopes. If I’m honest- this feels a bit more like it should be a $20-30 ticket.

The Planetarium experience is a little dated (probably great for young kids). Absolutely time for a new projector though, friends, the projection itself was pretty low res and hard to see 😉

The dark sky portion unfortunately was tougher to enjoy because of the location- a bit of science fair and a bit of looking at telescopes (cool but brief).

I really want to highlight the staff being exceptional. They are doing their best with what they have been given to work with.

I recommend you also make your way to Pyramid Lake at night -no telescope there but you’ll see some stars 🙂

Great time. We saw the planetarium show of the northern lights. And the star constalleations from the greeks and the aboriginal peoples of the area.we talked about space rocks then out side to look at the stars but we had cloud cover so there is a rain check for next time we come to jasper. Great time too bad about the weather. Family really enjoyed the time we had.
