Staying at The Jellybean Heritage Inn has been one of my best B&B experiences. It was my first time in St. John’s; Carole Rennie, the proprietor, and her staff made me feel right at home. I chose the Come By Chance room which has a queen size bed, ensuite shower, water closet, sink plus plenty of closet space with a quiet little fridge. The room was clean upon arrival; I stayed for 8 nights and each day the room was freshened up. Breakfast was amazing, Norm, the cook, will serve you a meal that will take you through the day. He’s also a lot of fun.

One important factor for me to stay there was its location. I walked to many of the cities sites from there with ease.

I was fortunate enough to call the Jellybean inn my home for about a month. The location was absolutely amazing, being immediately in the downtown vicinity was a treat for me and it was neat to consider myself a member of the downtown community even if it was only for a short while.

The owner was beyond accommodating for me, she went above and beyond when it mattered most and was beyond generous, the type of service I was impressed by with the style of her boutique hotel. She offered great local recommendations for things to do, places to go, and things to try; and provided an unmatched level of hospitality.

I will be staying here again. The staff, location and room all made my trip that much better. I would recommend the Jellybean to anybody looking for a quaint place to stay.

A beautiful heritage property, very centrally located. The rooms were so charming and beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Everyone appreciated the en-suite baths in each room. The kitchen was so well equipped, and the coffee was excellent. |Our entire family stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. Our host Carole was so helpful with the extensive planning and organizing. Once we arrived she welcomed personally to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. A couple of small issues were dealt with very promptly. This Inn is ideal for large groups. We would highly recommend the Jellybean Inn.

Really nice spot and cute antique like place super cool! Staff are so kind and caring and the breakfast by geddi (forget spelling sorry!) was so delicious and made to order!! Thank you to Carol and the other staff for the kindness!! I will return if i come back!!

This newly renovated century building was an excellent choice for my stay in St. John's. |The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. I had some trouble with the air conditioning and found it too hot in my room the first night. Upon contact with the staff I discovered that it was me who had not set the air conditioner correctly. They also promptly changed out the bedding for something lighter upon my request. It was very unseasonably hot in Newfoundland for that time of year.|The continental breakfast is served from 8am. And the staff even made the guests scrambled eggs and pancakes one morning, which is beyond the usual for a continental breakfast. |I like to stay at B&Bs when travelling solo because I get to meet other guests and learn what to see and do while I'm there.|I recommend this B&B and would definitely stay here again if I'm back in St. John's.

Probably the greatest place I've ever stayed. The owner, Carole, was very kind and accommodating to all of our needs. We were given a parking permit which let us park directly in front of the Jellybean at no additional cost. The Jellybean is within walking distance to anywhere you would need/want to go. For ex: war ruins, museums, restaurants, pubs, night clubs and is a short walk to the Atlantic Ocean. The room was very nicely furnished and decorated. The queen size bed was very comfortable. We spent most of our evenings sat in front of the beautiful fireplace in the living room. |The Caretaker responded to all of our needs immediately and was absolutely delightful and very very funny. Our visit to St. John's was such a wonderful experience and I highly recommend staying at the Jellybean if you ever visit St. John's.

Came to Newfoundland for the first time and absolutely loved my stay here! The jellybean houses are so cool so staying in one felt right. Very cozy bed and breakfast, friendly staff and almost all the people I met on my trip were the same. Would definitely recommend the jellybean and would stay again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Jellybean Heritage Inn for my birthday and the experience was outstanding. We stayed in a room called Heart's Content and that is exactly how we felt during our short stay. The room was beautifully decorated with an enchanting ensuite. Breakfast was delightful, the coffee and croissants... simply perfection, and we enjoyed engaging in conversation with some other guests and the hosts in the ornate dining room. I would highly recommend booking a room at this inn, whether you're visiting St. John's for the first time or a long time resident, you will not be disappointed.
