Chambre avec A/C qui souffle directement vers le lit, aucun ménage n"a été fait lors de notre arrivée pour la deuxième nuit à 20:00 hres, Extrèmement bruyant, si c'est pas la clim, c'est les départs et arrêts fréquents des trains à la station voisne.||Depuis ce sèjour. on a tous les deux attrapé la Covid !!!||À éviter, vaut mieux dormir dans son auto !!

hôtel bruyant donnant sur le métro ,ou la rue ¨; Pas de hall d'accueil ,pas de parking dans l'hôtel ,Loin de tout .Pas de possibilité de petit déjeuner le dimanche ,le restaurant de l'hôtel étant fermé.

Abashed at the two-day-of-wages hotels in central Vancouver we spread the net and found the met next door to the Expo train line exit. Met by the lovely Kevin, and getting a quaint clean and comfortable room at the rear on the fourth floor. It was lovely. Only minus was the unseasonably warm weather meant we had to use the somewhat noisy air conditioner. Also adjacent to the Howie sound pub- to which you get a discount voucher- good nosh.

Can't speak for the hotel, but we did visit the pub.

I've known this place was here for decades and never even thought to step inside because it just seemed rough on the outside... The people outside seemed rough.

The inside was surprising, small, but appealing clean, and the staff were immediately welcoming and friendly.

The only reason they get a 3 ⭐ is the food.

It's very pricey, I can speak to the chicken wings I ordered, there were 8 and it was just shy of 20$. And they were edible, they were a far cry from being worth 20$.

My buddy had the pasta, another fish and chips, and the third had the hamburger...

Each of us left some food - maybe it was just that we were the first guests of the day, but the food needs to be better.

I'd try it again, maybe a bit later to see if the food service is better and what the crowds are like...

The Met in New Westminster is an excellent place to stay! I booked the Studio King room, and it was incredibly comfortable. The room had all the essential amenities, including an iron and ironing board, an alarm clock (which helped me a lot), and key card access, making check-in and entry super easy. The cleanliness and comfort were top-notch, and the pricing was very fair for the experience.

The food and drink options were outstanding! The bar had a charming ambiance, and the buffet dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Every meal was of top-class taste, making dining a pleasure. The room service was always active and impressively quick, ensuring a hassle-free stay.

Other facilities like the nightclub, game room, and casino add extra entertainment options, though I wasn’t too interested. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and provided all the necessary information. Parking was hassle-free with plenty of space at a reasonable price—though free parking would be even better!

Overall, The Met is a fantastic hotel, and I highly recommend it!

The staff were amazing. Loved the room and the view. Asked to have the tub cleaned, which happened quickly. Would have preferred that a sanitizing cleaner was used instead of Windex.The walk on the quay across the street is lovely. Best location if shopping for bridal wear or tuxedo. So many stores.

Went to the Met Bar to watch game #7 of the second round of NHL playoffs 2025 after going to another bar down the road. The Met had the game on louder so it could be heard, lots of televisions on which to see it from any seat in the house, and even the picture quality was better. But even for all those wins the real MVP was Tracey M who served our table! She had major charisma and got the everyone at the pub cheering on the Canadian team. Her energy made the evening memorable and because of her I will be going here again. Howe Sound Brewing Happy Hour Specials were an added bonus!
