As I was short on time, I only visited the art gallery section of the Muse. I had a great time strolling through the exhibits, which included an exposition on contemporary fashion based on Indigenous clothing, as well as a very cool show looking at the different patches that Canadian astronauts used in space.

Their permanent collection was also good, as was their gift shop, where I bought souvenirs. Making my visit even more memorable, a family of deer was hanging out by the museum's front door.

Looks small but holds 3 floors of exhibits. Great local history. Staff member that I spoke with was very well versed in the artifacts and photos seen. Great little place, not to miss on your next trip to Kenora.

The staff is so great, so friendly, so involved in their work! And the museum is really great to understand how a Canadian community can grow, and why it can also decrease. This is an amazing place, for Canadians and foreigners.

This was my first time in this museum and I would have to say it's worth the trip to look around. But there one thing missing..... Exhibit number 9 or display case 9. Over all, it was a good place to visit.

Took an evening art class recently (paint a mushroom on a bowl) and it was a great experience. Friendly staff, great teacher. Bonus I got to look around a bit after hours when it was quieter. The exhibition space is great. And the kids art in the art workshop was adorable.

Good sized regional museum. Gave the history of the area, mostly about settlers but also included some Indigenous context.

I liked the building architecture and the different levels.

We only went into the museum, not the art gallery.
