I had the pleasure of staying at The Saucy Willow Inn for work during the recent ice storm, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was taken aback by the Inn’s charm. This beautifully restored historic home exudes warmth and character, with lovely antique furnishings and a peaceful, calming atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home.

I stayed in Room 5, and I truly wish I could have stayed longer. The bed was without a doubt the most comfortable I've ever slept in—seriously, it was like sinking into a cloud. The Inn also offers a variety of great amenities that make it perfect for both work and relaxation. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a cozy, inviting place to stay.

I'm already looking forward to returning, this time for personal reasons, as the serene environment and the overall experience made it the perfect escape. Highly recommend The Saucy Willow Inn for anyone in need of a peaceful retreat!

We had an absolutely lovely winter weekend at the Saucy Willow Inn. As soon as we arrived we felt so welcomed and well taken care of by David and Stefanie. The Inn was cozy and clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. A storm hit and we got alot of snow, making the wood fired sauna just amazing. The location doesn’t have a lot open in the winter, but a nearby Foodland meant we could get what we wanted, and we dined at a delicious Indian restaurant. The nearby hiking trails were beautiful, and snow shoes are available at the Inn free of charge! We look forward to going back.

Had an absolutely beautiful and delightful one night stay at The Saucy Willow Inn. The house is stunning and beautiful designed and decorated. So many beautiful antique touches and details. Each room had so much to look at visually. There are so many cozy areas to sit and enjoy a coffee. We loved the campfire on the porch and the grounds were stunning in the morning. We had a great sleep in a clean beautiful room. Breakfast was beautiful and the service and kindness from the owners was amazing. Highly recommend!

Needed to find a hotel/B&B in the Kawartha's for a few days and this place fit the bill perfectly. Terrific location for heading to the many tourist areas in the Kawartha's and is absolutely beautiful with the numerous improvements done since the new owners bought the Inn a few years ago. Breakfast was great with much to choose from. The rooms have all been redone and the many common areas are great. Three docks on balsam lake gives you great areas to sit and see the world go by. I would recommend the place to anyone needing a getaway for a few days or a week.

We had a wonderful time as first time visitors to Saucy Willow Inn. It will not be our last visit!! Stephanie was a welcoming host, from check in to check out and various moments in between.
The room we were in (Room 5) was bright and spacious with a water view. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. There was a patio just outside our room, and I used it to read and relax, two things I don't get to do much in real life! The grounds were impeccable and sitting on the dock in the Adirondack chairs, quietly taking in the view with a coffee was a highlight moment. There was a sweet sauna on site and we had a blast going back and forth between the sauna and the river. Breakfast was perfect and
satisfied every breakfast craving I had.
We will most definitely be back to Saucy Willow Inn.

My Wife and I had been invited to a reunion on nearby Balsam Lake and were happy to find a room available for three nights at the Saucy Willow Inn . Right off the bat on meeting the owner Stephanie we knew we had made a good pick. She welcomed us with a tour of the Inn and garden which fronts onto a beach and dock ideal for swimming on the Trent Canal system. Our room was very comfortable and had an excellent Air Conditioner which we appreciated as Coboconk was enduring plus 30 Celsius temperatures that day. The property was quiet and we had no noisy parties to contend with. The continental breakfast which went with our room was excellent. 5/5 for the overall experience. Thanks

A wonderful place for a chill weekend! Great scenery and cozy sauna. The owners are extremely nice and a lot of interesting activities here! I recommend everyone coming here!
