I couldn’t possibly say enough good things about the SHOP! As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a warm, personal welcome by Carla or Rochelle (who just so happens to be the best nail tech in the entire north). It is such a nice atmosphere, whether you’re there to shop for some custom made shirts, local beadwork, or even visit while having one of Carla’s home brewed coffees made with fresh local-ish beans! … and don’t even get me started on that iced caramel macchiato!! To die for! Carla is very flexible with making custom drinks- I have a 9 year old boy who wants to make a different concoction nearly everyday and Carla makes it happen every time! The grab and go cooler is also awesome if you make it before everyone buys it out! The egg salad croissant and the chicken salad are the best. Pair it with one of Carla’s homemade soups and you’re set for lunch. You won’t regret stopping by this little hidden gem on centre street meadow lake.

Hands down the best coffee in meadow lake at great price. Support local. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was running errands downtown all morning and I was feeling exhausted and in need of a caffeine kick. I was filling in my prescription across the street at Madill’s and I had a 20 minute wait time so I asked the pharmacist if there was a coffee shop at walking distance. She recommended The Shop stating that it is newly opened. I had walked by there earlier on in the morning and saw the sign but it looked like a beauty parlour and not a coffee shop. So I made my way in and saw that there is a little coffee shop on the corner inside the beauty shop. A lovely kind woman greeted me as I came over to the counter. Told her that I’m not much of a strong coffee person and that I wanted it half coffee half hot water. She prepared it for me and gave me some cream on the side. I sat down on the stool thinking I’m going to be drinking the strongest, most bitter coffee ever however it was not the case. This coffee was smooth, rich tasty delicious and definitely not in the class of a cheap Tim Hortons or McDonald’s kind of coffee. This coffee was in a class of its own. Two months ago I started drinking coffee by accidentally stumbling in a coffee shop while getting caught in a downpour in Bogotá Colombia, the coffee country of the world. This coffee that I had at The Shop in Meadow Lake reminded me of that coffee I had back in April in Bogotá Colombia. A smooth, rich, full flavored, delicious coffee. I drank every drop of it and had a big cookie on the side to go with it. It hit the spot! I can’t wait to go back. This is truly the best coffee shop in Meadow Lake. And for five dollars for a coffee and a cookie, it sure beats your overpriced bitter, burnt tasting Starbucks coffee. On top of that I was served by the nicest woman in Meadow Lake. Great job “The Shop”! Thank you for the wonderful coffee and see you soon.☺️👍
