Certains pourraient dire qu'il faut vraiment avoir affaire à Thunder Bay pour s'y rendre mais ils ont tort. C'est vrai, la ville est plutôt isolée, à la pointe nord-ouest du lac Supérieur, mais la visite est très agréable.||||Avec environ 200,000 habitants, Thunder Bay est une ville d'envergure, avec de nombreuses unises qui témoignent de la santé économique relative de l'endroit. Le bord de l'eau pourrait être très bien mais la voie ferrée y règne en roi et maître; dans une ville tout de même assez éloignée on peut comprendre. Quelques beaux parcs sont tout de même aménagés et les marinas semblent très prospères.||||Le mémorial consacré à Terry Fox vaut le détour. La statue pourrait être plus belle mais le coup d'oeil sur le lac Supérieur vaut la peine de s'y rendre.||||L'hôtel Victoria Inn est digne des endroits où on séjourne quelques jours par affaire. Très bien situé, avec un restaurant tout à fait correct. Pour les gens vraiment en vacances avec de jeunes enfants, voyageant probablement sur la trans-canadienne, la piscine et ses glissades est très bien.||||L'hôtel lui-même a sans doute été rénové il n'y a pas longtemps car il trahit parfois son âge à certains endroits. Par exemple, les prises de courant qui datent des annes soixante n'ont pas été remplacées lors des dernières rénovations et il faut parfois insister pour que le laptop reste branché car les prises sont très lâches. Si j'étais le patron, je les ferais remplacer.||||Mais c'est un inconvénient très mineur et j'y retournerai sans doute pour mon prochain voyage d'affaire car je n'ai rien trouvé à redire sur cet hôtel, finalement très bien, à Thunder Bay, en Ontario,.

Sur notre long parcourt nous avons fait un arrêt au Victoria Inn, nous avons eu un très bel accueil de la part du presonnel. Cette hotel a une picine, glissade d'eau et un bain tourbillons ainsi qu'un Gym. Nous avons aussi manger au restaurant de l'hotel qui était assez bien mais un peu dispendieux pour ce qu'il offre. Très bien situé et le service est impécable. Le déjeuner n'est pas inclus mais beaucoup de restaurant sont très prêt.

Pas moyen pas très bon , juste bon ....||Commençons par les points négatifs ||Plateau repas dans les couloirs encore a 9h00||Un parking bondé , quand il fait -20 pas drôle||Aucun Francophone à l horizon ||||Pour les point positifs||Chambre propre||Le Resto n est pas mal||Le personnel gentils et courtois ||||Globalement pas mal

Sur la route, c'est toujours notre choix. Tout est correct : restaurant, propreté, personnel. Parfait si on avait de jeunes enfants. Possibilité de magasiner à quelques pas ou de délier les jambes dans le quartier résidentiel.

Parlons franchement un hôtel bruyant la piscine se trouve à l'intérieur de l'établissement et en plus les chambres entourent la piscine impossible de dormir avant 23h00.||Chambre bruyante entre la piscine et douche et des couloirs bruyants.||Petit déjeuner à oublier à minima

We had stayed at this hotel twice before and it was great, so we went again. Upon our arrival, AFTER we checked in and they gave us our room keys, we were informed that the A/C was out in the entire building, but were assured maintenance was working on it urgently. (We found out by looking up past reviews, the A/C has been "broken" for nearly 3 months.) We were told we could ask for a fan if we found the room too hot, and/or open the window. Once we got to our room we found the entire carpet to be incredibly sticky and the room was sitting at 28°. I went to open the window and found that the screen had been forcibly removed. I put the screen back as best I could then tried to open the window and quickly discovered the screen had been removed because the window crank was broken. I had to remove the screen again and push the window open. I called for a fan, but was told none were available. We had our 2 dogs with us and decided to give them a cold shower because they were overheating. That's when we found that the controls for the shower were labelled backwards and nearly cooked our dogs.
Other things that added to our poor stay:
Broken microwave (would not heat)
Waterslide unavailable during the weekdays (not advertised on site)
Door would not latch unless fiddled with after closing
Broken crackpipe on the ground outside the main entrance (wish I was joking)
Marijuana EVERYWHERE!

We were not asked how our stay was when we checked out, and I'm pretty sure they knew the answer already...

Needless to say, we will not be stating in the hotel ever again.

There were some great staff trying really hard.However the hot tub was cold, the other pool was really cool, and the wading pool was ice water. Pretty dirty as well. More control at pool needed. Poolside room super hot and no air or ventilation. Then the patio door was locked from the outside at 10, for security. I understand the reasoning, but more ventilation is needed. The lifeguard team on Monday did a stellar job however and kept everyone safe while having fun. The carpet in the room was really dirty and should be redone, so it matches some of the nice renovations that have been done. I was really hopeful to have a fun hotel with a good pool area and pool side room for birthday parties and staycations. I’m not totally throwing in the towel on the Superior Inn yet, but there’s room for improvemen.

Booked a poolside room for a birthday party. I feel it was excellent value to host a party. Plastic chairs and tables were provided and found around pool area. Saturday before March break, pool was busy. Room was nicely furnished and decorated. Booking room through the hotel gives you a free hot brekfast for everyone booked. Unfortuantley, those are the only things I can say was great on my stay. Poolside room was extremely hot, warmer then hallway and pool area. Pool area I found to be dirty upon check in at 3pm, there was food scrapes left on ground like half eaten toast, wrappers from food, and a cockroach in the female washroom. The shower was cold when placed in the hotest temperature, the sink was warm. All exits have a security alarm when opened, which were activated throughout the night, preventing a good sleep. My wife had to bring her breakfast to the kitchen because the waitstaff never checked up on our order to ask how our meal was. Before we were finished, we were presented the bill, again without asking how the food was. As far as service was, they did call about 30mins after we checked in and asked how the room was. I told them how hot the room was, and they explained it was because the room was by the pool. Upon checkout, I was never asked how my stay was, so I didn't go out of my way to explain my dissatisfaction. I paid $174 including taxes which I thought was a great price to host a party, however I don't think it's worth the price to spend the night.
