Terrible service she booked our seat in emergency exit as we needed wheelchairs she didn't know that we were not allowed those seats. She called us the next day to let us know these set were not availabe. She also was supposed email my sister with the flight info. She did nt. took Lynn a long time to book a flight from Vancouver to Montreal. Then from Montreal to Bathurst. She charged us 50 dollars each for her services. Sister called her back to have the fee canceled for one us as we we travel together. Lyn starting yelling and my sister hung up.
We did call air canada they were so helpful in giving us our seat numbers and removed the cost for our seats.
Next use air canada they saved us $$$ not Lynn

Simple booking for air and motel nights took forever. Really disappointed in an establishment that should have made it easier for Seniors not increase the stress with missed dates and promises. We will do our own booking in the future.

I started planning a trip to Tanzania at the beginning of this year, and I was referred to Lynn Hipwell, who had some first-hand experience with travel packages in Africa. She was exceptional. My planning was taken care of from start to finish. Every detail was considered, every question of mine was answered, and every concern I had was abated. All of my flights were coordinated flawlessly. Even during the short-lived Westjet strike that happened one week prior to my departure, Lynn took the time to see me in person to come up with contingency plans for flight itineraries. Lastly, her experience and coordination with G-Adventures was excellent, as I got the trekking and safari packages that I wanted, and all planning details were correctly arranged. In the end, I went on my Tanzanian trip, climbed a mountain, went on several safaris, and had the most life-changing experiences that I've ever had on one vacation. I have Lynn and the Travel Place to thank for that.

Had a good initial meeting with a representative and thought my trip was being looked into, but turns out the only thing that happened was me getting ghosted/ignored.
I reached out after my initial meeting, but I haven't heard anything since meeting face to face.
Ended up losing a solid week of potentially booking something and by the time I got a new travel agent to help me, the place I wanted to stay at was unavailable.
Very unprofessional.

I just wanted to say that Sara has been the BEST travel agent I have ever dealt with. She goes over and beyond her job even long after our interaction. While on vacation she has done her best to help with any aspect of our trip. She has updated us through tough and challenging Covid restrictions, and provided intelligent advice on major concerns. I may never book my own trip again. It's been a piece of mind having Sara look after us. I almost wish she came with us on the trip. THANK YOU for all your hard work long after our transaction. I have never had this kind of customer care. Her knowledge and skills are that like no other. Yay travel place!

Highly recommend everyone at The Travel Place ! Sara is awesome to deal with, we have booked 4-5 trips with her to Mexico and every time she gives us options and finds us the best deal !
