Superbe hotel, le staff, réception et restaurant - excellent service, merci!

L'hôtel est très bien situé vu sa proximité avec l'aéroport. J'ai toutefois vécu une série de mauvaises expériences incluant une évacuation à 3h du matin pour un problème d'alerte d'incendie.
Je suis incertaine à savoir si je recommande cet hôtel vu la façon dont la situation a été gérée par le personnel.

The building is a non standard westin. ||Front desk staff were very accommodating upon check in. ||There is no Bonvoy lounge. Vouchers were offered for breakfast but we did not have a chance to take advantage of them. No amenity gift was provided for me as a titanium elite member.||Attempted to purchase a soft drink, but there is no shop at the front desk, and was directed to the bar. There was an excessively long wait for a simple soft drink. ||Overall there are far better properties for the same price.

We recently stayed at The Westin Calgary Airport, and overall, it was a pleasant experience — thanks to a few wonderful staff members who made our stay extra memorable.||A big shoutout to Tom from the breakfast team, who went above and beyond, especially in taking care of my mom during breakfast. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality truly set the tone for our mornings. Thank you, Tom, for making us feel so welcomed and cared for!||Another special mention goes to Kristoff at the front desk. He was professional, patient, and very helpful in addressing my concerns about cleanliness and even my missing tripod. Although it wasn’t found in the hotel, Kristoff personally followed up when a tripod was turned in (it wasn’t mine, but I appreciated his effort and communication). In the end, I discovered it had been in our car the whole time — sorry, Kristoff! On top of that, he assisted me with our breakfast coupons and airport shuttle service, which made everything smooth and stress-free.||While the staff interactions were excellent, I was disappointed with the housekeeping service. The room was tidied but not up to the standard I expect from a Westin:||The same marked sheets were left unchanged.|Sheets were not pressed properly.|Garbage on tables was left behind.|Slippers weren’t fixed or arranged.|Glasses weren’t replaced.|Coffee amenities weren’t refilled.||To me, returning to the room after a day out should feel as refreshing as checking in for the first time — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.||Overall, I deeply appreciate the wonderful service from Tom and Kristoff, who embody the spirit of hospitality. With some improvements in housekeeping consistency, this property could truly shine as a top-tier airport hotel.

The attitude of staffs at this hotel is extremely bad and even discriminatory. Last morning, I went to the front desk to ask the staff to change room for me because there was noise in the room, which prevented me from sleeping the night before. I was the second in line, with a white man in front of me and a white woman behind me. The front desk on duty that morning was a black man. He finished helping the white man in front of me first. When it was my turn, he told me that he would help the white woman behind me first and asked me to wait aside. Secondly, when I raised my request, he refused and said that if I wanted to change rooms, I would have to pay a cleaning fee of $250. If I didn't agree, he would ask me to change hotel. Marriott, is this how you train your staff? Do they just kick out guests when they can't meet their demands?

I’m really glad I chose to stay at the Westin Calgary! I feel lucky that Bless was the one to check us in—she was incredibly professional and accommodating. Plus, she managed to find us a room right next to my family, which was a huge bonus. ||The hotel’s location is fantastic; everything is within walking distance. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Our 4 days stay at The Westin Airport Hotel was extremely comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well-appointed, making it a relaxing experience. What truly stood out was the staff — every interaction was warm and welcoming. A special thanks to Snehal, Tom, and Manish for going above and beyond with their caring and friendly service. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly looked after. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding service!
