The theater is beautiful and old with great architecture. The shows are great and local. Definitely worth the trip. It's an excellent adventure!

My first time at the Imperial Theater and I was really impressed, Beautiful old theater and Steve Vai put on a first class performance. A 2 1/2 hour performance and nothing but the best guitar show I have ever seen or heard. Would love to do it all over again.

Saw Randy Bachman. Great venue. Good sightlines and excellent sound. Seats are narrow but comfortable with ample leg room. New lobby renovations give a nice place to gather pre-show and intermissions if there are any. Photos taken from left side balcony "obstructed view" seats.

We went to the Dinosaur World show and it was amazing! Imperial Theater regularly has some amazing options for shows. We will definitely be signing up for their newsletter to make sure we don't miss any chance to go back.

Nice atmosphere & great sounding room. Staff were great. Small lobby. Parking downtown is a pain. Seats are a bit too close together & a tad uncomfortable. But that’s all theatre seating.

An awesome facility with great historical significance. Wonderful Acoustics and amazing shows brought right here to St John New Brunswick for everyone to enjoy! We traveled from Halifax Nova Scotia regularly to attend shows here, it is that good! Hope this helps.

This theater is a beautiful piece of living history. In recent years they have been hosting showings of old classics. Last October I saw the extended edition of "Alien". And just last week, I had the privilege of watching "Nausicaä of the valley of wind". What an incredible experience both of these viewing were. The tickets and concessions are very affordable, and I hope the community continues to support this beautiful place.

We just went in to visit, and there are free guided tour (around 10 minutes). We were able to go in and admire the beautiful architecture of the theatre

I’m rating this theatre a 1 based on its customer service. There’s “woke” and there’s flat out rude … I love being spoken down to and rudely by the front staff members. The Volunteers on the other hand are superb. Gracious, kind and very helpful. Perhaps they should have these women train the front of house staff on good customer service.
