So full disclosure I used my canoo app to gain entry which is free. But for four people it’s around $40 which is not bad because you get so spend unlimited time here. I highly recommend this for children and toddlers. There are multiple levels. And each day a show for the younger crowd. On the day we went it was a dinosaur show which everyone enjoyed.
If you go in the morning it’s not crowded at all the rush around started post lunch time and we left by then.
There’s nursing room on the 3rd floor. And almost each floor you will find seating.
You are allowed to bring your own meal and eat at the ground floor.
Don’t miss out the science section in the basement. So much fun.
They also rent out for birthdays and events which I believe is fun for children. Stroller friendly place. tonnes to Do.
There’s ball pit and painting and water games.
Lots of fun. Easily can spend 3-4 hours here.

Great experience for our kids to explore and take part in a lot of interactive activities. Exhibit flows well from one to the next - will definitely visit again.

Had a nice visit! This place is great for 10 and under. Schools bring kids here. However, there are quite a few interesting things for a kid in their early teens. My early teen enjoyed her day! It takes about 2.5-3 hours to do everything in this 3 level museum. There is also a makerspace in the basement; some activities in the basement are extra, and some are free. We paid around $11 to make a kaleidoscope craft that is supposed to add to the kaleidoscope exhibit. It didn't really add much to the exhibit, but it was a good craft to do where she learned to drill with a power drill. It took about 50 min. to make it. It was kind of like a Kiwi kit. My daughter seemed pleased with it.

When my kids were young, we got a membership, and it was definitely worth it! Younger kids love the water table!

Tip: Make sure you ask when the StarLab Star Show times are. They didnt tell me at the front desk, so we were in the basement of the building in the Makerspace, and we didn't want to leave our craft half done when we heard the announcement, so we had to wait around for the later show time. 2 show times currently: 11:30 & 2:30. Show was 22 min in length.

My teen loved the vortex tunnel!

Washrooms: Yes, there are washrooms on every level. Their main floor's washrooms had run out of soap though. They had added a lot of water to a dispenser, and there was virtually no soap.

The water table was filled with bugs or something. See my pics.

Food: There is no food here except slushies in the store in The Museum. There is a vending machine, but it is broken. You are allowed to bring your own lunch here, and there are picnic tables on every level. The main floor has also chairs, high chairs, and a water bottle filling station.

Parking: You can park at Duke Street paid Parking Garage and walk directly into the museum from the main level of the garage. This is your best option. You can get 2 hour free street parking near The Museum.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have elevators on every floor.

Was not that busy so kids were able to experience all activities. This museum is more suitable to younger children so if you have mix age groups, may not be the best. Overall, I did enjoy seeing my little explorer having fun!

The sold out Mac and Cheese and Beer Fest was probably the most amazing event I’ve been to in KW. It was my 5th time and as many have pointed out the new pricing model and fewer vendors definitely impact the quality of the experience negatively. I hope there is someone on staff with institutional memory going back to say 2018 who would be willing to recreate that vibe. We will still come back in the future but we hope that the event will go back to the old model of being able to sample more or less all products. In other words I would like to feel stuffed before I ran out of coupons and not have to do mental math which samples I can “afford”. I would be happy to pass this feedback through other channels if those exist.

Fantastic place for Kids! We drive from Burlington to come here because there’s nothing like this is our area. Lots of space for everyone so never feels busy or cramped even on weekends when we go. Great for a day trip.

Great place for my 9 and 15 month old,

Bathrooms are not as clean or functional as you'd like or hope.

Can't wait to bring our fundraiser to this big beautiful space this weekend. Our service and connections at THEMUSEUM have been awesome. Excited to see it all come together.
