Amanda and Brad arranged a perfect day of ice caving for our group. It was spectacular and safe and fun!! . I learned so much from Brad about indigenous culture in a wonderfully open and supportive dialogue. Highly recommend for any adventure to embrace sustainability, respect and reciprocity on native lands and water.

Thrive Tours is honestly an amazing experience. I got to work with Amanda and Brad and loved every second of it. Amanda had a really lovely down to earth attitude and Brad’s passion for teaching about nature and pairing it in with Anishnawbe culture is refreshing. My university class from the Netherlands had the incredible opportunity to explore indigenous life in Sault Ste Marie with Thrive Tours, and it was an experience we'll never forget.

From the moment we arrived at the Art Hub, where we immersed ourselves in Brad's captivating artwork and stories, to meeting local artists and crafting our own art, every moment was filled with insight and inspiration. Brad's singing and drum play added another layer of authenticity to our experience.

Amanda's lunch was not only delicious but also accommodated our vegetarian preferences seamlessly. Her attention to detail ensured everyone was satisfied and fueled for the adventure ahead.

Walking through White Fish Island with Brad was enlightening, as he shared the rich history and significance of the land. Participating in the indigenous practice of offering tobacco to the water was a deeply meaningful experience for all of us.

The day concluded with a delightful barbecue above a campfire, hosted by Brad and Bruno. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like family. For many of us, it was our first time enjoying 's mores, adding an extra touch of magic to an already unforgettable day.

I highly recommend spending a day with Thrive Tours. They offer an authentic and enriching experience that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for indigenous culture and a heart full of cherished memories.

It is hard to pick a favorite moment of our day with Thrive Tours. I remember sitting around a campfire, simply sharing stories, sophisticated s’more techniques, jokes, and song; and I recall watching different critters flutter and scatter about which I may never have noticed if it weren't for Brad. He, Bruno and Amanda made for cheery, humble and knowledgeable guides and it was an honor to be able to meet them.
The best part, though? Through them, we got to learn some indigenous teachings by all we saw around us. It opens up a whole new world, truly, in the best way. Even in the middle of a grey and strange winter, Thrive Tours provided my warmest memory of Sault Ste Marie.

Our team spent the day with Thrive Tours for a Professional Development opportunity. We spent the morning making beautiful medicine pouches, followed by an incredible lunch that was so delicious, and accommodating to ALL of our team's food allergies and restrictions! They took us on a peaceful and educational little walk through the bush to a stunning scenic lookout, followed by a delicious apple snack cooked over the fire, with fresh made cedar tea. Throughout the day we were sharing Indigenous teachings, stories and even learning new songs! Overall this was a beautiful way to spend the day! Chi-miigwetch Brad, Amanda and their Thrive Tours team! Our PD was awesome, and we will definitely be doing more with them in the future!

Amanda and Brad are excellent people who are knowledgeable and fixated on providing an organized and fantastic experience. Kudos to Bruno for supporting me with learning to Kayak!
