This was an amazing experience that went way beyond our expectations! The moment we got on the water we felt at peace. We were amazed we could get down to the lake and back within two hours, even with a magical detour into one of the inlets. This is a great activity for any skill level, since the river has virtually no current. The operations at Toronto Adventures were well-organized and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They made everything so easy and positive. We’re definitely going back soon!

Excellent experience! Online purchase went smooth. It was easy to find the location. Smooth transaction with easy to follow instructions. The water was really still, so great for beginner kayakers. About as "away" from the city you can get considering you are still in the city. If you are looking for an easy paddle this is the place for you.

We've been kayaking here several times this summer and it's been a fantastic experience. We recommend getting the season pass. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always available to help. They offer a variety of kayaks, Pungos for a more stable, comfortable ride, Tsunamis for those looking for speed, tandem kayaks for two and Canoes for Families. Rentals are available for 2-hour sessions, which is plenty of time to paddle up to the White Humber Bridge and back.

Staff also patrol the lake on kayaks, offering assistance if needed, and they help you get in and out of your kayak, which is a big plus. The scenery is beautiful, lots of birds, fish, turtles, and we even spotted a deer once!

While the life jackets are starting to show some wear, they still do the job. Our only wish is that they opened an hour or two earlier than 9 AM, since it gets quite hot and tiring past 10.

Had an amazing time kayaking on the Humber River! This adventure is a perfect escape from the city without ever leaving it. The experience is great for all ages — whether you're a beginner or just looking for a relaxing paddle, the route is calm and easy to navigate.

Parking was super convenient and close to the launch spot, which made getting started hassle-free. Once on the water, we were surrounded by nature — we spotted deer, a variety of birds, and even turtles along the way. It felt like a peaceful oasis right in the middle of Toronto.

Highly recommend this for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy a bit of outdoor fun. Will definitely be coming back!

Great rental spot and awesome people! I've come here a few times and the environment is super welcoming. Also this is a great spot to launch a kayak from. The 2hr rental duration is pretty good as it allows you to make your way down the Humber river to lake Ontario and back. I definitely would recommend this spot to anyone who is looking a wonderful kayaking adventure and experience!

This was our first time canoeing with our dog! Amazing that they are dog friendly and even had life jackets for dogs which we did not know as it was neither mentioned on their site nor in any of the reviews so we bought one for our dog. If you are taking your dog, be assured that they will have one.

Some staff were friendly. We were asked to go report to the one near the river who then asked us to go bring a canon. It was so heavy. Wish they would have helped us. They did help us to get it into the river at least so we could go sit one by one.
I asked where is the paddle, they then gave us directions to head to the spot where we registered to collect it and when I went there, everyone was busy. Could’ve been better if these things were organized. Collect your life jackets and canons first, then head to the river. They started giving instructions to a few who came before us. Would’ve been better if they waited as we were just registering as well.

Anyway, I was so scared for no reason as I did not know swimming despite wearing life jackets. Lol. Initially there is hardly any depth t the river. Your paddle can literally reach the ground. So, relax, if you are like me. We spotted a baby beaver and several ducks. Every time our dog sipped water from the river our canoe tilted. It was scary. Perhaps we should canoe more often.

I need to explore downtown Toronto or Pickering next time. Avoid an extremely hot day if possible!

Great experience! All very simple, just you a kayak and nature!
Staff were helpful, you have freedom to just paddle! We had a tandem kayak which was great, lots of room for legs. Life jacket provided. Would recommend.

Bring water, sunscreen and snack. There are no shops near by, so bring this stuff with you. We got the subway there.

This company is great. Staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. The Humber River is a hidden gem with some great wildlife viewing opportunities. On this occasion we saw several turtles, a mink, lots of different birds as well as fish and tadpoles. On other visits I have seen beaver, muskrat and deer. Renting a kayak is a beautiful and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours and hard to believe you are so close to downtown Toronto.
