One would expect from a program coordinator that deals with the community, friendly staff but unfortunately after dealing with Sherrie Aldread and inquiring about camps and dealing with her unwarranted, unpleasant attitude our family will pass on joining any of the programs at the rec centre. This is deeply saddening for our family to have to be subjected to this poor treatment when all we wanted was to have fun with our kids.

Fun, Clean Centre! Big gym and clean Washrooms! New Expansion Building is awesome! Great Fun Train show every year In February and Great Exhibits during Port Hope Fair In September and Nice Tennis Courts with lightning from 7pm to 11pm May to October! Fun for everyone!

Good skate part for kids. My children always enjoy their time there. Day camps used to be good until they changed the hours and don't accommodate half the town now unless you work a '9-5' job - too bad!!

Went here for a children's birthday party. Lovely staff and a very clean facility. Quiet and well organized. The gym is very large and has good equipment, however some of the small trampolines had unsecure legs which were a little unsafe.

Their skate park is very fun. Newer park so the concrete is really smooth. Usually have lights on at night for the tennis court but it's bright enough that you can still ride the skate park.

Badminton for seniors. Great. Sometimes Floor could be cleaned better. We have loads of fun. New players are welcome. Wish the Rec. Centre didn't cancel our days so much. Mon. Wed. Fri. 1:40-3:30

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The space we rented for a party was a good size and clean with nice tables and chairs to use. Would book a party room again.
