From booking to check-in, Jenn was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We arrived later than expected due to the weather, but she still greeted us warmly and showed us around.

The cabin itself was perfect for me and my friend for a couple of nights. Even with temperatures dropping to -20°C overnight, the heating kept us cozy, we didn’t even need the extra blankets!

The little touches made a big difference, from the stocked firewood for the outdoor pit to the cutlery, plates, and plenty of drinking water. All very much appreciated.

The outhouse was also clean and surprisingly odour-free.

A perfect, peaceful spot for exploring Arrowhead Park or the nearby small towns. A rejuvenating escape, we’ll definitely be back!

Trailhead cabins is an amazing place run by Jenn and Dale. Provides escape from the hustle of city with quick drive from Toronto.
FYI Jenn is a super host on Airbnb and its pretty accurate. Fire by the cabin, stargazing was the highlight of our trip. Tips- Use google maps to reach there, also they have a clean bbq and utensils which you can use to cook food.

We loved our time at the TrailHead Cabins. The private off the grid tiny cabin was just what we wanted. Our hostess thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Kindling, dry firewood, great campfire chairs, twinkling lights to show the path,yummy smores kit, and descriptions and directions for local attractions plus a day pass for the nearby Provincial Park. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the trails and beautiful forest hikes.

I booked through air bnb, and right away Jennifer had reached out to talk about our stay, make sure we had everything we needed. When I asked about a play pen for a baby, she said she did not have one but within 24 hours messaged again to let us know they picked one up.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel last minute but she has been super understanding.
I will definitely be booking in the future because what interactions I have had with her, I know that she cares about her business as well as everyone who books!

Trailhead cabins is a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle. It is quiet and secluded but has tons of amenities. The hosts are wonderful and helpful and attentive, and each cabin is stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is also a really cute little trading post that has games and other fun things that you can borrow while you stay. I really liked the themes of the cabins and how clean and well kept everything was. They are also pet friendly! I will be back for sure.

A tucked away gem! We enjoyed the cracking fire and the peaceful sounds of the woods. Trailhead Cabins was the perfect place for us girls to catch up and share some laughs. The cabins are comfy and provides all the essentials. We made dinner on the bbq. Just pack a bag of clothes and your food and you’re all set for a wonderful getaway. Thanks Jen and Dale for providing a slice of heaven. We will be back, maybe with the dog next time.
