TravelMaven was instrumental in making my bucket list trip to Africa come true. They arranged out internal flights, hotels and safari experience. Every business that they partnered with were amazing. Very Professional Tours. I have taken four tours with Travel Maven, one as a Solo Traveller and three with my spouse. Barry is knowledgeable about all his Tour locations, and employs local professionals to ensure any unique destination is expertly covered. The trips are well planned, and using an App to share - and adjust as needed - the daily schedule is very helpful. I will use TravelMaven again

TravelMaven’s group vacation was our first choice for a trip to South Africa a few years ago. We wanted to sit back and be guided and have all the bookings, except airline, looked after. We know that Barrie’s choice of hotels and activities is extremely well researched. The groups are kept small and we felt that we got great value for our $s. Highly recommend!! We are hoping to join him this November for a trip to Vietnam.

I have travelled with TravelMaven to South Korea and on the South Africa Safari, with Barry as the tour lead. Both trips had excellent itineraries, and allowed a good balance of structure and free time. Really good value too. He is knowledgeable and flexible. I enjoyed TravelMaven tours so much I have signed up for Haida Gwaii and Japan for 2025, and recommend his tours to all my friends.

We had an amazing recent experience on Travel Maven’s Best of South Africa Tour, with the added Victoria Falls extension. From start to finish, everything was perfectly planned and executed. Barry and Ursula, the owners, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ensuring we were well taken care of. They truly went above and beyond, catering to our every need throughout the trip.
The itinerary was exceptional, with multiple nights in each city! It was seamlessly organized from outings in Cape Town, to wineries near Stellenbosch, to safaris in Kruger, to the awesome inspiring visit to Victoria Falls. We felt comfortable and safe at every location.
If you are looking for a hassle-free, memorable, and enriching travel experience, we highly recommend this tour.

Just returned from Travel Maven’s Best of South Africa Tour. This was a small group (8), who travelled to Capetown, Stellenbosch (wine country), and Kruger for several safaris. We added on Victoria Falls. The trip was well organized, the intinerary was excellent and Barry and Ursula were friendly, responsive and very helpful. Attention to detail was fantastic, and it was obvious our safety, comfort and enjoyment was the priority. We would happily book with Travel Maven again.
