I stayed here and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept - exactly what you’d hope for what the hotel is. What really made the stay stand out though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help.

A special mention goes to Joanna from the front desk. She was absolutely fantastic - warm, approachable, and always going out of her way to make sure guests felt taken care of. Her effort and genuine care for visitors really elevate the whole experience.

Overall, a great value stay with service that truly shines.

The motel accomplished it's purpose, the staff was great. The vending machines which are not operated by the motel billed my credit card but did not deliver anything, the vending machines are also picky with the coins or bill they accept. Although the vending machines are not operated by the establishment, if the establishment knows(they do) that the machines are faulty, it behooves them to hold the vending machine company accountable and get them to fix the issue. I had great sleep, I might go back, stay away from the vending machines.

Overall the experience at the hotel was made by perfect by Joanna! The hotel is a little older so it is a bit dark but otherwise it is clean and fairly well maintained.

We have a nervous dog with mobility issues so she ensured we had a room out of the way of the busier front rooms that was easy enough for him to navigate. She also came outside to meet him and suggested a local tick spray to keep him extra protected! I had also recently broken my tooth and when I couldn't find my floss she had some extra.

Thank you Joanna for helping us feel at home when we were so far away!

The hotel is a bit on the older side but it was clean and breakfast was good the usual muffins, yogurt, fruit, waffles etc. Joanna (Joanne?)at the front desk was amazing! My daughter ended up with food poisoning in the middle of the night (not from the hotel food) and Jo went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and had a nice clean room to move to with clean sheets and towels. The manager, whose name I forget but she just had a baby, was also very pleasant and helpful.

What a fabulous experience at the Travelodge in Bridgewater! The hotel itself was nice and breakfast was good, but what really set them apart was their staff. Every single staff member we encountered, whether front desk or housekeeping, was outrageously kind and helpful. They made us truly feel like it was our home away from home for our 6 night stay. The location was a great jumping off point for all of our day trips and conveniently located across from a gas station and pharmacy. Could not recommend this hotel more!!!

Make sure you see my review on the expedia. So back to the review of the bathroom, had no way to tell if any of the towels were fresh and the thinnest hotel towels ever, they felt like dollar store type, rough and extremely thin. Absolutely no milk anywhere at the hotel, so couldn’t make a basic couple of tea. No complimentary coffee or even a water fountain. Breakfast was a joke. Only fruit was apples, oranges and bananas. No cut up fruit of any kind. Store bought muffins that tastes horrible, no waffle or pancake station, as it was “out of order.” It’s as if the hotel wanted everyone to know” we chose not to give quality food for breakfast.”. Peeling wallpaper in our room (and throughout the hotel) and there was a huge gash in the ceiling between the top of the wall and the ceiling not to mention two holes in the bathroom. Garbage was left in the stairwell. Doors between floors didn’t even close property. Very limited options for breakfast. And heaven forbit you ask for extra cutlery they hand it to you hold from the mouth piece, not even individually wrapped utensils. Clearly the hotel takes being cheap, shoddy and hotel negativity to a whole new level, #challenge accepted. One last thing, the hotel staff are very noisy when it comes to cleaning other rooms around you so you could hear thumping and knocking and bumping and when I asked them to keep it down so that we could rest, no apology, no nothing. And when I went back into our room, the noise continued. To sum up, if you want to treasure your vacation memories avoid this place at all costs or it will absolutely put a big damper on your trip like it did for us.

The service was incredible and beyond any expectations no matter what time of day or night. I was there for a hockey tournament and didn’t have a place booked. I had a work discount here so I figured I’d pop in before the 9:30AM game and see how if they had anything available and they did. They were super friendly about even just me inquiring. I didn’t book immediately but when I went to go back into my car, I realized I should just book it but a lot of that was due to how nice the front staff were. They checked me in quickly. They offered me so many advantages that I was very grateful for. The rest of my team stayed across the street and had nowhere near the same service and advantages. They were all pretty jealous lol. AC worked wonderfully. I did find it odd the fridge was off because if I didn’t notice right away, it would have been disappointing later. But the door of the fridge being left open was evident that it was not on and was an easy fix (I assume it’s left off to preserve energy, which is totally fair). Rooms were very clean. Kind of dated but to be expected. They still managed to keep them very clean (they even change the shower curtains between guests) and comfortable. The cleaner was also very personable the next morning. Would highly recommend staying here and if you’re unsure whether to stay here or across the street, I promise this is the better choice!
