Ce motel est bien situé. Les chambres sont propres & ont des comodités tel que : micro-onde, frigo, air climatisé, wifi (fonctionne bien), sèche cheveux., télévision. Seul point négatif : mal isolé alors le matin on entend les femmes de ménage parler.

I have never been to a hotel thats made .e feel so comfortable.
There are so OK with whoever you are... in most times because of how I look or who I'm with.I've been judged or automatically labeled in certain situations.
I will definitely be here staying again. Because this hotel is somewhere. I will always use until they close or whatever happens. Because that's how good this hotel treated me.

Will NEVER stay here again. If we wouldn't have been exhausted from a long day on the road, we wouldn't have stayed the one night we did. Room was in disrepair and had not been properly cleaned. Light fixture was dangling - scared to touch. Chocolate bar wrappers in night table drawer. Bathroom garbage had not been emptied after previous guest. Towels on the towel bar looked suspiciously like some may have been used and not replaced. After we had gone to bed, a staff member tried to use a key to gain entrance to our room, seconds after one quick knock on the door!! Thankfully we had engaged the security lock, preventing their access. Kids were running up and down the hallway until after 1 am. When we complained to Management in the morning, we were given a discount on the room rate. While it does show a bit of an effort by management to make things right, the discount offered was far from adequate.
We did not try the breakfast offerings that were included in the room rate as we didn't want to take a chance on it considering that we had another full day of travel in front of us.

The grounds and building seemed to be clean and well maintained. A group ahead of us had a mix up on their reservation which caused us a 20 minute wait to get checked in.
As for the room, it was a decent layout, but it only had a nightstand on one side of the bed (I never understood why some hotels do that). Electrical outlets were in poor places. I had to pull the bed away from the wall to access one. I question the cleanliness of the room as there was a water bottle under the bed from a previous guest, and a door sign (with the hook to hang it on a door) sitting on the floor under the bathroom sink.
The complimentary breakfast was very limited but acceptable. But you were left using paper plates and wooden utensils. Which my wife has a serious aversion to (like nails on a chalkboard for others).
Overall, a 7 out of 10.

Stony Plains Travelodge has very friendly staff that welcome you right away. They are quick and efficient with check in. The rooms are clean and the air conditioner is quiet and doesn't blow a harsh cold dry air like most do. We found the walls were thick as well and didn't hear the neighbours. Great continental breakfast with many options to choose from.

The location is right off the highway so made it quick to get back to the road. Overall the perfect hotel for an overnight stay.

Our family stayed here for almost a week. The staff at the front desk were fantastic, The chamber maids were absolute rockstars! Any concerns or issues were quickly addressed & taken care of. Thank you Marianne, Bob & the Chamber maids for taking such good care of our family for the week.
( we stayed during a very busy time for them, they did absolutely amazing for being short staffed)
(we did select/pay for an early check in time through Expedia (1PM) - Unfortunately we weren't able to check into our room until after 6PM due to staffing issues that day. Bob let us leave our bags at the front desk while we waited & we enjoyed exploring stony plain/edmonton a bit while waiting for our room to be prepped & didnt need to haul all our luggage around with us)
The rooms were quiet & clean. The beds and pillows were really comfy!
(I don't say that too often, being away from my own bed!!)

The area is nice and quiet too (not to far of a drive to get to edmonton) it was a great location to stay with our children during our vacation, the area is definitely one of the more safer ones in the city area.
The pool was perfect for them to enjoy safely (hot tub was definitely a plus after 3 days of traveling! )
We enjoyed the breakfast that was included with our stay (the kids always made sure they were up and didn't miss it)

Our family will definitely be back again for our future visits! Thank you again for having us for the week. We look forward to visiting you all again soon!

Pet friendly, $15 surcharge for pets which was very reasonable. Clean rooms and easy access to a dog park of sorts, just a grass field but it worked perfectly. Next to a Mr Mike's.

Dog friendly with a convenient outdoor (on-leash) pet area. Best hotel breakfast we've had in a long time. If you're looking for clean and comfy at a reasonable price and don't care about fancy this is the place for you.
