We just returned from a wonderful trip on the 15 day Mekong River cruise. Everything went smoothly from the transfers to the check in at the hotels to the cruise. All the tour guides in Vietnam and Cambodia were amazing, so professional and knowledgable. The bus drivers were excellent. The hotels were all very nice, the locations of the hotels were good and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, they always had a smile on their faces. Tripoppo offers very good value.

We just completed an amazing trip to Vietnam and Cambodia which included a 7 day cruise on the Mekong River. Besides the wonderful.places we visited, the organization behind the scenes by TripOppo helped make the trip most memorable. Right from including all of the airport transfers, the selection of hotels, the very personable and knowledgeable guides along the way, everything happened seamlessly. Then, on top of all of this, the value paid for this extensive trip was perfect.

What an amazing trip. Did not know what to expect but as with our 5 other TripOppo experiences all went to plan. The guides were great and informative.
The food, hotels,extra trips, small group (8) Had a bit of a hickup with Vietnam visa but all sorted by Cathay Pacific staff at YYZ.

Trip was great. The attractions were spaced out perfectly so we had some free time on our own to shop and wonder through the towns and cities. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to all my friends. The only thing I would suggest is to book early so you can get the best flights with few lay overs. Very positive experience.

Just completed the Indochina with Bangkok tour with TripOppo. The trip was wonderful & enjoyable, the hotels & meals were excellent & the tour guides in three countries were very professional & knowledgeable. Absolutely I will travel with TripOppo again.

My wife and I went to the Enchantments of Japan and South Korean trip with TripOppo. We really enjoyed our time, thought it was a well-planned trip and felt safe all the time with their tour guides. Mini, who is the name of the South Korea tour guide, made an outstanding job in ensuring all of the travelers were well taken care off and were satisfied with the trip. Her performance made me rate this trip with a 5 star. In my opinion, there are areas of improvement. For instance, the breakfast in the hotel in Daegu was not good, this was also the feedback from most of the people travelling with us. There was one hotel in Japan that was way too old (felt that it was in the 60's) but thankfully we only spent one night there. Finally, I believe that the tour guide in Japan "Kelly San" can make a better job in making foreigners feel welcome. In her emphasis in highlighting how the Japanese culture is different from the rest of the world, we felt that it was a bit much and made a few comments that could have been offensive for certain people. We understand in Japan foreigners are called "outsiders" but, that does not mean people are not welcoming. We had many good experiences with the locals. That is all, we returned home very happy after this fantastic experience.

I had a fabulous time going on the 9 day Japan trip May 2024. From the beginning, I was very satisfied with the customer service at TripOppo offered by Candie. I am also grateful that she booked me on EvaAir. I had a wonderful in-flight experience.

Although a guided tour, there is some opportunity for leisure time to explore the locations and taste different types of food. Felicia, was the tour guide and did a sufficient job.
The hotels are not located in central areas so not much sightseeing unless you take the train. However, this is also a contributing factor to the cost of the trip being reasonable.

Overall,The itinerary was a nice mix of culture, history, technology and food. Although it was a short trip, I was able to see and do a lot of things. This was a bucket list trip fulfilled.

A suggestion or change that could be implemented or considered for the future:

1. Replace some of the temple/shrine attractions with other attractions such as museums, karaoke, Hiroshima, Yokohama etc.

Our first trip with Tripoppo. Recommended by a friend. Here’s some observations:
The tour director Mini from South Korea was considerate, thoughtful and very detailed oriented. She was fluent in English.She was proud of her country and provided many historical details and insights for each site that we visited. The itinerary was well planned except the APEC visit which was basically a government building. That should be omitted from future itineraries. Food was an enjoyable- lots of fish served many ways. The ginseng chicken was delicious!

The tour guide Mimi for the Japan tour was not confident in speaking English and did not really provide any details or knowledge of the sites that we visited. Would have be helpful to have a Japanese guide instead. Would have been nice to actually visit the inside of the Osaka castle instead of viewing it from the outside. Felt kind of rushed.We wasted quite a bit of time travelling back and forth to Kyoto - almost 4 hours travel time between Osaka and Kyoto. We should have reduce our stay in Osaka and stayed in Kyoto 1 night instead. No one was happy about that.The Grand Hotel Hamamatsu was awful and felt like we were staying at a motel from the 60’s. Still have nightmares about it. The traditional Japanese lunch was beautifully presented and was delicious. The host for the rice dessert class (Nerikiri) did not speak English so that was a bit challenging.There was no tea ceremony and Wakashi making as indicated on the printed itinerary. 1 hour was not sufficient for the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Felt rushed again. The rest of the hotels were pretty decent.It was too bad that we were not provided with whisper kits for both portions of the tour- it was frustrating for both the travellers and tour guide to constantly have to repeat directions. Mother Nature was not on our side so no clear view of Mt. Fuji. We were surprised to find out at the last minute that contemporary Tokyo excursion was cancelled due to low enrolment . Wish we were advised earlier so that we could have made alternative arrangements. To recap - we had a great time with the group of 20 travellers and would definitely use Tripoppo again ! Here’s hoping that our feedback helps in improving future tours.
