Well the first room we were given was very dirty.
There was crusty goop on the bed quilt in several places,sticky mess on the TV stand.hair in the sink and bathtub toothpaste on the bathroom sink tap.
All in all it was very 😝.
The owner gave us a second room that was only slightly cleaner.
When asked about a cleaner room.
We were told it's not a 5 star hotel
5 star or not you still expect clean.
An old motel can still be clean.
We got our money back and found a different motel.

We paid 85 a night with a dog

Pros:
-There is a grassy section where I THOUGHT I could walk my dog.
-Quiet. Very nice and quiet minus the obvious highway sounds which is fine.
-right by the river which also sounds nice
-friendly guy that checked us in. Very polite and no issues.
-No bed bugs

Cons:
-There were so many hairs in the bathroom. Like at least 15 variations from short and curly to a foot long. I kept finding them on the towels and in the tub as I was trying to run a bath for the kid.
-NOT very pet friendly if you listen to the dick signs that say "don't walk dogs". Not clean up after or have them on a leash. Just "don't walk"
-my husband said the room smelled like smoke and really bothered his allergies. I didn't notice.
-Dated. Sink backs up. Toilet doesn't really flush.

In general I can't say it's worth the price but I haven't stayed anywhere else in Cache Creek so I don't know if it's top of the line for around here or bottom of the barrel. General ok. Surprised the reviews were so good but maybe we were just an anomaly.

The owner is excellent. Very kind, very accommodating, treated us like gold and made the bed in our rooms every day on a very on a longer stay. Definitely thoughtful and considerate to people. Above and beyond for us. He even lifted an extra fridge to our rooms to store food for work. Will stay here anytime I'm working. Thank you

I'm not looking for the Hilton, I understand that you'll have older fixtures and that's okay. I just want clean...that's all. Clean bed spread, clean taps and cleaned washed floors. If you can't take the time to wash the floors or clean up sticky spilled pop from off of a TV stand...if it's too much trouble to wipe the toothpaste off of the bathroom taps, you shouldn't run a motel.

The rooms were kind of clean, everything was old and well worn. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. Location was quiet and that was about all that I found appealing. Service was absolutely wonderful however.

We are stranded travellers due to all the floods and road closures we found the Tumbleweed hotel. It was outdated and old and stained carpets, but the kicker was the bugs coming out of the ceiling( possible bed bugs) the Asian guy who runs/ own it claimed all was fine, then he yelled at us and charged us for a hr of use refused to give us our 40$ . ****Warning a warm bed isnt worth bed bugs , even in crisis and no place to stay anywhere.****

The new management and owners of this place have really upgraded this motel into a beautiful place to stay! There is still work going on but I definitely recommend staying here!

I wish I could give it 0 stars!! Dirty all over, bed sheets were very uncomfortable…oh yeah, and I woke up to a live rat hitting my head! Went to the office for help and no one answered so I got to sleep in my truck! They fortunately moved me to another room for night 2 that I had already paid for, but sadly refused a refund or discount for the night in my truck! Crooks!
