An awesome little resting spot on the way home. Bathroom was very clean. Huge assortment of tourism information from all over the province. Stretch your legs on a walk up the little hill for fresh air & a pretty view. Nice spot to walk your dog too.

Excellent spot to pull over for a rest with the family. The rest area is off the highway and separated by a row of trees so you can safely let children and pets out as well. There is also an RV dump for public use.

Each time I have been here it is a hit or miss. I finally figured out the reason.

When there are staffed it seems pretty good.

When they have a company looking after it (September - March) the place suffers. Things are broken and they often run out of soap.

Stopped here on a road trip. The building itself only has the bathrooms open (clean), the rest if it all being closed and turned into a lifeless husk. Otherwise decent parking but not much for space otherwise. They have a nice hill lookout at least.

If you're looking for a place to take a break from a long road trip, a rest area is a great option. This particular rest area was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking and easy access off the highway. The facilities were modern and well-stocked, including clean restrooms. Overall, I would highly recommend this rest area to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to take a break while traveling.

There was a time that the Shell in Valleyview had the best washrooms. Used to. The visitor center is a little out of the way but so much more cleaner
