It exceeds my expectations! The room is very spacious, clean, and modern looking. I would love to be back. The location is very secure, safe and quiet. The people who work there are super friendly too, like family environment. Bonus that the price is always affordable!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. During my stay at this hotel, I encountered one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk woman I dealt with was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed zero interest in addressing any of the concerns I brought forward.

Rather than listening or attempting to resolve the issue, she acted as though I was inconveniencing her by simply speaking up. Her attitude was cold and unwelcoming, and it left a terrible impression.

To management: if someone cannot even acknowledge a guest’s concerns, they should not be in a customer-facing role. At the very minimum, have understanding for their frustrations while being able to explain kindly that you’re not at fault directly. This interaction alone was enough to make me not want to return.

To potential guests: I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. A hotel is more than a building — it’s the people who run it, and based on my experience, this staff member did the hotel no favours. Additionally, the rooms were extremely dated and not worth the price you pay.

(In response to your reply, this was my OWN personal experience based on the interaction at check in the day prior. I raised concern over a fee I was not told about when calling a few days prior. She completely dismissed me when I suggested customers be informed about the fee at the time of inquiring. While I can appreciate your attempt at deflecting, this is NOT an okay response nor is it fair to assume my review is in association of any form. Take accountability and ownership that perhaps your front desk agent could have handled concerns with empathy rather than treating your guests poorly. Accusing me of verbally attacking or yelling is entirely false. My two children were alongside me throughout the duration of my very calm, and collected conversation. These accusations are disgusting and continue to speak volumes about your establishment. Additionally, your response appears to be part of the problem and further justifies why your employees find it acceptable to treat paying customers this way. Have a good wonderful day and hopefully learn from this.)

Let me be absolutely clear: this hotel is a disgrace. The lock on the washroom door in my hotel room was broken. I was forced to have my wife stand guard at the door, afraid that our children might walk in on me, due to the broken lock. This is a complete breach of privacy something no guest should ever have to experience. When I explained the situation to the staff member, she flippantly replied, 'It's not a big deal', and then had the audacity to tell me I'd be charged for two rooms if I wanted a working lock! This experience was utterly unacceptable. The broken lock, the dismissive staff, and the complete lack of concern for guest privacy made this stay horrible. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I will actively discourage anyone I know from doing so.

It was pointless to fix the door after I'd already left. Additionally, the noise from passersby frequently woke me at night; the absence of soundproofing was very disruptive.
I appreciate the manager's voicemail and will return their call at my earliest convenience.

RE: WOW. There were only the three of us there, therefore you unfortunately cannot understand the way we were treated. If your staff had even apologized for this mishap in the first place, this never would’ve escalated. It was not what happened that upset us, but the lack of empathy and care that followed.

Absolutely disgusting service. VERY rude worker named Pachit who was absolutely useless for rectifying a very important price discrepancy. Do not stay here unless you want to be treated very rudely. The rooms are also out dated and very dingey.

Overall this is a very clean quiet hotel with friendly front staff.||The fold out couch bed would be fine for children, but for an adult don't expect comfort at all. The "mattress" is thin and you'll feel the metal bars of the frame all night long.||Breakfast is essentially muffins and yogurt with fruit. The quality is there, but consider it a morning snack rather than a meal. Having a kitchenette in the room makes a difference, the hotel is close to many grocery stores and restaurants.

The lady working the front desk named Pachit was extremely rude and frustrating to deal with. The hotel itself was fine but this lady was horrible to a speak with, very rude and no empathy, just a heads up if you have any issues expect a huge hassle when dealing with the front desk. Please learn basic customer service skills and respect, this isn’t how Canadians treat one another.

Everything was clean and comfortable, and in working order. The heat, television, shower, etc were great.|Staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this inn. A small but fresh continental breakfast was provided in the lobby, including fresh fruit and yogurt.
