Long story short, VIA Rail still owes me $100 from a ticket that i cancelled, than was told "no refund, the seat has been booked by me" So when I tried telling them a couple of days later when I finally spoke with my son to confirm when he'd be home who I haven't seen in close to 4 years, I tried telling them that I will be in the seat that I booked they said that wasn't possible and I'd need to pay for another ticket I asked how that's even legal and was hung up on!?Can you believe that!? They straight up stole my money than obviously rebooked that seat making double profits and laughing at me that I wasn't able to afford another ticket as I'm disabled on an extremely low income, I've never been more disrespected by a business that I've been utilizing my whole life. They know I'll never step foot on a VIA TRAIN again as well as everyone in my family, my friends and hopefully all of you who read this.

Clean, well organized facility. Helpful staff and the train was on time. In a rough part of London, but the bus drops you pretty close to the VIA Rail station which is nice. Felt safe as long as I stayed inside. The train was comfortable even though I got economy and I didn't have any issues.

Decent parking facility, but paid parking. The station is in heart of downtown and quite small, making it easy to navigate inside. The staffs are weird as if you stand next to the train for too long after hopping off, they think you are up to something fishy, meanwhile, I am looking for connected transits (not the best) and some uber. While travelling with a cat, london transit made it impossible to switch from viarail, so, uber it was.

Extremely dissatisfied with their accessibility options. Had a young teenager that had open heart surgery and required a wheelchair. After spending over 2 hours on the phone trying to reach someone, when I got to the station in Toronto, I was given attitude for interrupting the staff member as he was playing Candy Crush on his phone. I had to go get the wheelchair myself. Then the train had a LOT of delays. We spent and hour just sitting at one point in London. No reason given as to why. I've spent the last 2 days emailing back and forth and have been told I should have called 2 days prior to arrange a wheelchair. I just checked their website, it is NOT listed ANYWHERE about having to give them 2 days notice of requiring a wheelchair. The trip from Toronto to London took nearly 5 hours. Their reply is they are offering everyone on that train 55% discount to be used within 6 months. Like do you really think I am going to trust the wellbeing of ANYONE with you again! NO!
DO NOT USE VIA RAIL IF YOU REQUIRE ANY KIND OF ACCESSIBILITY AS YOU WILL BE TREATED EXTREMELY BAD!!!!

Decided to treat myself on the short two-hour trip from London to Oakville. Bought the (a bit) expensive "EXECUTIVE" ticket which was about twice the price of the regular fare.
It included access to the "Executive" lounge prior to the trip. Nice and quiet with comfortable seating and a machine which produces an interesting variety of coffees/lattes etc....and a frig with soft drinks.
Priority boarding on the first car which has large comfortable seats and power outlets. A dedicated concierge who serves a drink before dinner, wine (not terrific but palatable)with dinner which has a few choices. I had the fairly filling and delicious CHEESE TRAY.
A bit pricey but a treat if you have the opportunity.

The station is very well laid out, the staff were helpful and friendly. I was so excited to take a ride on the VIA rail.

With that being said, both my trains were late. 1 was only 10 mins late, but i ended up missing my connection in Toronto at Union Station.

My trip from Toronto to London was over an hour late, and I ended up late for work. I would not recommend taking VIA Rail if you have something important to be at.

Security guys at London Station were friendly. But Leon, the guy at front desk and in charge of address passengers into the train was amazing. He really knows about customer care. If you need help, thats the man!.

Had a horrible experience with them. They put my sister, who is in a wheelchair, on the train with no tenant because our small dog carrier had a small hole in the side.
The guy who sold the ticket to us told us ‘a small dog bag that was soft and big enough for the dog’. They have no clear instructions or pictures on what your carrier should look like.
When we were denied access, the ViaRail workers were extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful to the situation. It’s very unfortunate that this is the only way someone in a wheelchair can travel because I wish we never had to use this service again.
