I had booked a room here for my adult daughter and her boyfriend as a nice little getaway - we had stayed here a number of years ago and it was wonderful. However, as others have said, it's not what it used to be. There was only one staff person on site, and he had little interest in engaging with guests. They went down for breakfast at 9:30am, certainly a reasonable hour to expect breakfast, and were told that they'd stopped serving breakfast at 9:15. When they had checked in the previous evening, they were not told the breakfast hours, which is usually part of the check in procedure at a B&B. I suspect, as others have said, that there is actually no breakfast as there was no evidence of food having been served. On the plus side, they said the room was clean and comfortable. All in all, given the number and quality of the other B&Bs in Wolfville, I would recommend staying in one of the others.

We arrived at the Victoria Inn, no vehicles in the parking lot, not a good sign. A young man showed us our room. We had booked for two nights. Smell of old but to expect in a Heritage Inn. We opened all the windows to leave fresh air in. The room was ok, bathroom renovated and clean. We stayed in the suite room. The first night only one pillow case on a pillow, bed sheets didn’t feel freshly washed. No pillow case on other pillow. Old towels that need to be replaced. TV did not work no service. Were ready to leave the next morning but asked the young university foreign gentlemen who works there to wash mattress cover, all sheets and towels which he did and appreciated. Ee stayed the second night. Young workers were very nice and ready to help. The lawn was not mowed, could be due to no mowing before June, however the property needs to be updated and money invested into it. Too bad because nice location and walking distance to activities and restaurants. Would I refer friends to this Inn not really.

Sheets and pillow case were stained, took a few tries to correct issue and finally get clean sheets. Place had a musty smell. WiFi didn't reach the 3rd floor. Website says free breakfast but we were told we had to pay $20 for breakfast? Staff was friendly but not what I would call professional giving excuses for staff etc..
Bathtub (jacuzzi) looked grimy (likely water stained) only good for shower.
Nice restored building with beautiful stained glass windows and furniture but has a poor view and isn't really in walking distance of anything.

If you're into Victorian buildings look and feel this is the place.

Was recommended but extremely disappointing. Must have been magnificent in its day. Needs many repairs. Room door lock not functioning properly. Room was incredibly hot when we entered such that we had to turn on AC and leave for an hour to let the room cool down. Requested a box of facial tissue for the room but told that they only provided toilet paper. No shampoo provided. Towels desperately need replacing. Went for breakfast at 0930h to sit for a half an hour then when asked, was told breakfast was served between 0815 -915h Poor etiquette, no introduction No assistance with luggage to third floor. No apologies just defensive posture.

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a photography tour of Nova Scotia. I would NOT stay here again. The house is beautiful but definitely needs some upkeep. The rooms were not clean and were not serviced at all during my stay. One of the other members of our group had to request someone to come and change the sheets on her bed as they were not clean. For breakfast, no one appeared until we finally called from the lobby phone. There was one choice for breakfast, no juice or cereal/milk. When we returned in the evening, our dishes from that morning were still on the table, exactly as we had left them. One of the rooms is immediately off the dining room and the noise from the phone in the lobby and the banging of dishes etc continued until well into the night. From my second floor room, I could hear 3 men talking below my room and this continued until at least 2 AM. I finally got up, opened the window and asked them to please be quiet. Whoever is operating this B&B obviously has NO clue about how to run a successful business. I will never stay there again.

Beautiful building but badly neglected, indoor and outdoor. Very dark and smelly inside. New owner(s) should be ashamed of the state of disrepair and abandonment that this beautiful historic building shows. When checking in we asked for breakfast hrs and were told it runs from 8-10, next morning there was no breakfast, person at front desk, who seems to be the only person working there and son of the owners (according to him), said that there was no breakfast because we didn't let him know. After that we just cancelled our second night and shortened our trip to Wolfville.
