My wife and I spent last weekend at the cottage and had a wonderful time.
The gracious host, the setting – lake access, privacy, and beautiful views; design and appointment of the cottages from quality vintage furnishings through to dishes/appliances and cleanliness of the cottage made it easy to relax, enjoy and unwind.

What a find! We feel so lucky to have been able to spend time at Vintage Cabins this summer. The two cabins were a perfect place for me & my partner to spend two weeks on the lake with my parents. The setup was ideal to spend quality time all together, while having enough privacy and separate space! Netta has done an absolutely outstanding job of renovating and equipping each cabin. Her care and attention to detail are obvious, and much appreciated. We swam every day and are counting the days until we return next year!

We spent 2 weeks here July 2020 with my in-laws.. having two living spaces was awesome.. we could do our own thing and get together for dinner on the deck. Pure heaven. Mornings on the dock, paddling on our SUP. Sunrises and sunsets with zero stress. Highly recommend!

Vintage Cabins has lived up to its name. The cabin was inviting with lovely antiques and homey details. Lot's of time and effort was put into creating such an enjoyable experience. Well done to Netta, the owner and thanks for a wonderful time. Shall be back again!

If you're looking for a vacation rental on / around Shawnigan, Vintage Cabins is definitely the place to go. I stayed there with my two young kids and everything was perfect.

If you're looking for a place to disconnect, get back to some vintage roots and reset, Vintage Cabins is the place to make this happen. This host has thought of everything, from a stunning lake view (that changes by the hour, just sit and watch!), coffees on the dock, old school board games to even the quality of appliances and furnishings- this place is a stunner!

We came right before Christmas and the whole cabin was set up for a Christmas holiday. The thought and detail that went into the set up of our stay... it was truly a special experience for us. We left feeling so relaxed and reenergized. If I could give more stars, I would- highly recommend!

We made a short notice request for a few days and the owner made it happen for us. Netta was very quick to respond initially and stayed in touch until a booking became available. The Cabin was immaculate and the attention to the vintage decor and detail is top drawer. We stayed in the birdhouse cabin and it had everything we could possibly want. This is something I am definitely going to do again, it was a great relaxing stay and we enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Thank you Netta, you are a great hostess!
