Well, the first room I got was not cleaned so he moved me to a room around the back. This second room was not to pleasant smelling so I tried to open a window.......you can't. Windows don't open. Tried turning on the air conditioner, bad idea as speweddust and other nastiness. I left the door open all night to #1/ get fresh air and #2/ to keep an eye on my truck. Flies were at home and I had invaded but what can I say for $85. I almost popped the tent on the top of my truck!

Very decent clean room, friendly and accomodating staff! Price is very reasonable. Love the bed and so happy to have a good night sleep after a long drive

Yeah never again. The mattress was a box spring, cable box wouldn’t connect to the TV, couldn’t flush the toilet without removing the tank lid so the plunger had room to lift up, and to top it off the deadbolt on the door didn’t retract very well so I almost got locked in my room.

Best Motel in Virden I strongly recommend to everyone this best motel in the town. Reasonable and Excellent rooms. The manager is also a good guy. He is such a helpful person

Room decent enough, will NEVER go back, had the worst experience trying to leave early, Expedia failed me by not being able to answer myself or the managers requests to change check out date! My booking agent tried to help and was terribly mistreated. After several phone calls by her was finally able to reach a supervisor at Expedia (too little too late by this time I was mad and had had enough). Came to an agreement with management to pay extra 2 nights to leave! Horrible experience, distracted me from my job, made me so mad I was not a nice person to deal with! I’ve never in any of my many across country stays had this much problem leaving early from a reservation!!!

Good place to stay in Brandon. "Not the Ritz" but the rooms are decent, clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom basic but clean and functional. The lady who ran the place was really nice and friendly. You get a basic breakfast that was decent. In all, I'd definitely stay there again when I have to visit Virden. People I was with who were from Winnipeg were less than impressed, shall we say. Yah, it wasn't the Holiday Inn or some other posh corporate experience. But it was pleasant, clean, decent, friendly, and comfortable and located close to everything in Virden. What more would you need?

Safe, clean and affordable! This motel has everything you need for a no frills stay! Front door dead bolt does work, just need to push the door in with a little force so it lined up with the hole. Bed was comfortable and clean, room was extremely clean. Front desk gentlemen extremely helpful and very polite. Right off the highway and was super quiet at night. Had a nice restful sleep! Would highly recommend.

Only place I could find a last minute room. Smells musty. Bed squeaks and has a big dip in middle. Pillows thin and only two. Woke up at 10:51 was going to call front desk for a 30 minute later check out. No phone. He come at 10:55 and said time to go. I asked for 11:30 check out, told no. Get out or buy another night. Worst service. Sh$tty room.
