On September 13, I paid 120 CAD for visa processing, expecting a smooth and timely process as described in Visa HQ service information, which indicated a ten working-day processing time.

However, several issues occurred during this process. Despite submitting all required documents promptly, I experienced delays and communication gaps. After an initial notification of incomplete documents on September 21, I promptly sent the required items as requested by their agent.

Following this, I received confirmation on September 27 that all documents were correct and had been submitted to the Jamaican High Commissioner.
Afterward, despite my efforts to follow up on October 3, October 10, and October 18, there was no progress update beyond assurance of ongoing communication with the High Commissioner's visa officer.
I emailed their agent on November 3 and November 6 but did not receive a response. Upon contacting their customer service, I was assured of a callback that never occurred.

After I directly contacted the High Commissioner's office, it came to my attention that they had my passport and some documents without any communication or follow-up from your company. Consequently, I took the initiative to resend all relevant information to the High Commissioner's office on November 17.

Despite the extended delays and lack of assistance from your end, I finally received my passport on December 16 directly from the Commissioner's office with constant follow-ups that I did.

After all these things, I reached out to Visa HQ to get a refund because they did not provide me with assistance and, delayed the process for three months and caused me a lot of trouble. They rejected my request, explaining that the High Commissioner's office did not respond to them appropriately, which is why they did not provide the service for me or refund me.

I had the worth experience ever, and io don't recommend their service.

Worst service for Visa applications. They are meant to simplify the process, yet they took 4 business days just to review whether my documents were all correct, and then they state that my passport had been submitted to the embassy for my visa application 4 business days ago, yet the embassy tells me they never received anything. After 90+ minutes on the phone with VisaHQ in Ottawa, they cannot tell me exactly the status of my application. They also do not pass you to a supervisor on the phone because they are "all assisting other customers". They have taken more than double the amount of time that submitting the visa application directly to the embassy would take, and charged $250 for it. An absolute disgraceful business. NEVER do business with them. This was my last time, and I will never do it again. They are making me have to cancel another business trip because they have caused such a delay and are not able to provide me with appropriate information.

Allan was great and took my concerns about not getting passport back in time seriously, going so far as to promise to keep calling the consulate until we reached them. I also appreciate Kenyatta mailing my passport back to me the day she got it, and Brigete did a pretty good job of keeping me appraised of their efforts to contact the consulate.

I thought they were a little slow with taking action when I told them we needed to get my passport back because my flight was coming up, which is why I've knocked them down a few stars. Ultimately, I did most of the footwork, being the one to get a hold of the consulate to confirm they were sending my passport back.

Had a great experience. They turned around my visa within 72 hours. I forgot to upload a document. They communicated right away, so that I could send it to them and keep the process rolling. I would use them again.

To Many levels of indirection. My application in Vancouver -> VisaHQ Ottawa -> VisaHQ Partner -> National Visa Service -> National Consular? I'm not 100% sure of this but with all the calls/emails (and no clear answers) I've had to make to try and track progress, this is my current impression. More than 4 weeks have passed since I started dealing with VisaHQ and I have 1 week before I leave for my trip. I will change star rating if results change from their current, disappointing path.

Sep 23/22 - I completed my visa application with VisaHq.ca for my trip Nov 01/22, and paid for 3 day service so I would have much time/room for error. At this time there were many emails/phone calls to straighten out ambiguities in document requirments before actually sending them documents. Also errors in data transfered from their online visa application, to the application then emailed me needed to be sorted out.

Oct 04/22 - VisaHQ Order Tracker said it received and prepared my visa application

Oct 05/22 - VisaHQ Order Tracker said the application was "accepted" by the Consolate. I was satisfied. Awesome! Things are now moving quickly! Or so I thought.

Oct 11/22 - I get an email from VisaHQ saying there has been "changes to their process, including changes to the fees" and ask for $212 to cover mailing expenses. So 6 days later I learn that not only has my visa application NOT been accepted by the consulate, it may not have even been sent.

Oct 17/22 - After 6 days frustrating days of mailing/phoning, I learn that my application was "submitted". What does this mean? Very vague. They simply will not clarify what is going on, and because this is a Russian visa application I am told the war in Ukraine is disrupting the Russian Embassies in Canada. All the while I am communicating with the Russian Embassy/Consulate directly where they tell me there are no delays in their processing and verified they do not have my application.

Oct 18/22 - After several more emails/calls, I learn the visa application was mailed to the to either the embassy, consulate or possibly another visa center on Oct 12 or 13. As of today, I have verified with the Russian Consolate that they have not received my application.

Oct 24/22 - I have been waiting almost a week to find out exactly what address VisaHQ has sent my application to or if the the destination has verified receiving it. So I cannot verify progress. I leave in 1 week.

It took VisaHQ more than a week to send out my visa application after it was already "prepared"? The worse part is there are no explanations for anything. I am to leave in a week and other decisions hang on visa approval. There are many other issues with VisaHQ that I learned along the way but this is already getting too long. Hopefully they pull through in the next week and I do not get asked to Visit the consulate directly, the day before I'm supposed to leave, or I'm out of luck.

The website was very easy to use and simple to navigate. I liked that it had sample completed applications as a guide. It was easy to find the Ottawa location and parking was readily available. Best of all, it took less than a week to get my visa. I would highly recommend the Ottawa VisaHQ.
