As a member of Cranberry Resort (since 2000) for many years! I have not been there in 7 years so I wanted to go visit for an update on the resort and the new renovations etc. I checked some previous emails to find a representative that I had corresponded with in the past. Fortunately, I have connected to Oreen Robinson. She quickly replied to my request in wanting to go visit the resort to get the updates to my membership and anything new at the resort! She was very patient to hear about my new personal changes and listened to what I wanted to do in visiting the resort after a long time since I last visited! In short, she made help me set up a “day visit” appointment for next week. She was very cordial and professional. A great asset to the resort and to the team of representatives of the resort! Looking forward to my visit next week!

March break was a burst due to our neighbour’s down south's poor judgment.

The children are young and disappointed, hard to understand “trade war” at their age. I’m feeling low about disappointing the children when it scrolled past my screen, 2 nights resort in Collingwood for $259, Canadian company? Say less, I’m in!

Shortly after, I received a phone call from the resort, asking some very personal financial questions, ensured wasn’t a scam, not a scam, to keep the deal, fine print says you have to attend a presentation about the resort.

I will admit I have workaholic tendencies and will never prioritize vacation and making those core memories with my children, but a timeshare would force me to do just that, I’m still in.

Check in was straight forward, staff was pleasant. I’ve been to resorts, the room felt more like a motel. But I’m not here for the room anyway, no stains, no pests and I’m happy.

Next day, drove to breakfast, got ready for the presentation, and off we went. Strange, this place looks significantly better than where we are staying, odd, if I was trying to sell folks on a resort, I might have them stay at the resort, not elsewhere.

We were welcomed and handed over to salesperson number one who goes on to review all the awesome places they have resorts we could be visiting, you have my attention.

Salesperson number two then guides us into a presentation on how high pressure sales tactics are a crime and how we would not be subjected to that, I’m intrigued.

Back to salesperson number one who then takes us to an actual "Resort room", an example of where we could be staying if we bought what they were selling, at this point I’m captivated!

I actually did not think the fees were bad for what was being offered. But before I commit to a 25 to life deal, let me check reviews. Not good. But I understand that the probability of a disgruntled customer leaving reviews is higher than of a happy customer leaving a review so I’ll need more time to consider the ratios of the good to bad reviews.

In comes the salespeople, you have to decide now otherwise you lose the incentives. Listen, if I WANT incentives to sign a deal, all well and good, but if I NEED incentives to sign a deal, I have no business signing that deal. I don’t need the incentives, I’ll have to go and read the reviews and if I’m not spooked, I’ll be back to sign the deal.

This is where things went sideways. Salesperson one appeared to me to be visibly angry and became confrontational, nose flaring, voice loud and shaky! DO YOU NOT TRUST US!? SO YOU DON'T TRUST OUR COMPANY!? SO YOU TRUST REVIEWS BUT NOT OUR COMPANY!? WHY DID YOU COME!? Uhm No I don't know you or your Company and maybe, just maybe I came because I was invited? It would have been comical but for the fact that there were children present. This was in front of pre-adolescent, less than 10 year old children.

I was confounded by the behaviour displayed, a salesperson who can’t take no for an answer? Again, would have been comical but children were present.

Teachable moment for the children, we will turn this lemon into lemonade, there are people in the world who would be sweet as pie until they realize that you will not be buying what they are selling and turn on you at a dime? My Dears, do not be manipulated or coerced, guilt, or shamed into doing what you do not want to do.

The children soon forgot but so sour was the taste in my mouth, I knew I would not sleep a wink if I stayed there that night. Even though check out was at 11 am the following day, I packed up my family and checked out at 9 pm for a 4 plus hour drive home. I am fastidious about checking the weather report prior to driving especially at night and in winter weather but come hell or high water, I was getting out of there.

I was not going to write a review but the elderly gentleman with whom we completed our post presentation questionnaire recommended writing one so here.

It wasn’t all bad, the town was lovely and chefs kiss to Montana’s!

Excellent customer service! I was talking to Oreen Robinson, she is very pleasant and knowledgeable. She asked me what I like to do on vacation and offered the things of my interest (spa and wine testing)

We have purchased the time share. As a part of our agreement, we have received 3 Dream vacations, they told us that we can use it anytime anywhere, once we decided to use it at their sister location in Barbados, they said we can't use dream vacation and we have to use points, that aside, they told us the gold membership with 105000 points is enough for 1 week at high season for a 2 bedroom location, but they told us that we need 117000 points for a 1 bedroom at their Barbados location(the Crane) they have lied to us, before we sign the agreement, we asked them specifically about locations in Turkey and they said yes there are locations available there, which wasn't true, we are so disappointed sad and frustrated, We wanted to cancel the timeshare but its not possible, we where happy at the time of purchase but the lies ruined everything

Recently used my Vitality Vacation Membership to travel to Florida. My family vacationed for a week at Disney’s Old Key West Resort and had an absolutely amazing time. I never thought I would be able to provide a vacation like this! Thank you Vitality Vacations for making our dreams come true 🩷
