We loved our stay in Cabin 1! The cabins are spacious, nicely appointed and extremely clean. We really appreciated the comfortable king size bed and the good quality linens and towels. The area is so quiet and tranquil. If you are lucky enough to stay here, you should consider ordering the charcuterie which is an add on when booking. It was excellent! The owners have thought of everything to ensure that their guests are comfortable and enjoy their time at this lovely oasis in the woods. We highly recommend a stay at Watervale Springs Retreat!

A perfect getaway! Private and secluded, off the beaten path. Full star gazing and amazing sunsets. Large deck, well appointed kitchenette, amazing shower! Supplied toiletries are gentle and lightly scented. Under 30 minutes to all necessities. 10/10 will go back.

We very much enjoyed staying at this lovely newly built property. This adorable place is very nicely done inside and out and all of the little extra touches make it feel homey and welcoming. Everything you need and more is provided in these cottages and the hosts are very accomodating and happy to provide you with anything else you need at your request. The communication with the hosts was possibly the best I have ever experienced. The surroundings are peaceful and serene. You will love it!

Beautiful cabin and everything you need in the cabin. Comfy bed and great shower with great water pressure and lots of hot water.

The outside patio is lovely with great furniture, BBQ and fire pit.

Extremely quiet and surrounded by tons of trees. The first smells reminded us of Christmas trees.

Lots of games available in the centre area and a library cupboard. Wifi worked great.

Perfect location to get away. Also close to Pictou and New Glasow for great day trip out with good restaurants.

Watervale springs retreat is the perfect escape to nature with still being close to amenities if needed. The cabins are so modern, clean, and contain adorable small details and finishing touches that leave you with everything you could possibly need for your stay! The hosts are not present but also readily available if you need anything at all. We loved laying in bed listening to the sounds of nature. Cannot wait to come back!

These cabins are located in a peaceful area with scenic views. They are a great place to get away for a weekend or night and just relax!
One of my favourite features is how each cabin is situated in a way to give you a sense of complete privacy, even when outside sitting on any one of the 3 cabin’s decks. All of the cabins are clean and aesthetically beautiful and have their own unique characteristics. I’d have to say cabin #3 is my personal favourite though!

A great getaway in the woods! The tiny homes at Watervale Springs Retreat are beautiful and fully equipped with everything you would need for a great Nova Scotian getaway. They have small kitchenettes, full sized bathrooms and comfortable beds. You also aren't that far from some great farm markets and only 20 mins from New Glasgow, Stellarton and Pictou so there are many great restaurants and shops just a quick drive away if needed. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our recent stay at Watervale and will definitely be back. The first thing we noticed was the quiet, peaceful setting - you feel like you're way back in the woods but you're only a few minutes from town. The large, private decks (with fire table and bbq) are the perfect place to relax and we particularly loved all the little local touches - from the provided coffee to the welcome gift of local honey and maple syrup.

We also took advantage of the breakfast upgrade, charcuterie and movie night packages that were also full of local products. The bed was super comfortable (yes for two king sized pillows each - finally, someone gets it!) and the rainhead shower was fabulous.

Check in was smooth - Kristi provided perfect directions and was very responsive if we needed anything (which we didn't). The wifi was also super fast which is important to us because we work remote and often accommodations say they have good wifi but don't - not the case here.

Another nice touch was the smart TV system that allows you to set a logout date and time - so we were able to login to all of our subscriptions and then, at checkout time the TV automatically logged us out (good thing, because I completely forgot to do it myself).

Overall, it was a great experience - we also got to explore New Glasgow (about 20 mins away) a bit and enjoyed Curious Crows Coffee Shop and the Shoebox Cantina (get the ginger pork bowl, trust me).
