Came all the way from Nova Scotia to see this amazing landmark. It did not fail to impress. The glorious fall day accentuated its grandeur as it stood proudly beside the harvested corn field. We were able to share our excitement with some passing locals. They were overjoyed that we had made the pilgrimage.

What an incredible rock. I have often gone past this impressive specimen of geology but haven’t stopped to truly appreciate
It until today.
It exceeded textural expectations and the portion size was much better than some OTHER rocks I’ve visited that I won’t mention by name.
The cracks were attractively placed and the soft ground surrounding the rock made for a pleasantly bouncy walking experience.
Of all the rocks around to specifically visit this one is the rockiest.

Went for my annual visit to the Wellesley Rock. It's still there and beautiful as ever. I think it's even grown a bit.

New this year is the bell pepper squeaky toy next to it (see photos). Gave it a few squeaks and went on my way.

A truly amazing piece of history that speaks volumes to the foundation on which this town was built. You will find new perspectives after dwelling in the wholesome pressence of this rock. Wasn't even that busy when I attended this monument and it was a beutiful day. This is artifact that has been neglected by today's uncommitted society and if we do not do our part of appreciating it we should expect the town built upon this rock to begin to crumble at its core.

This rock is amazing as soon as I saw that rock I felt like edging. As I sat on the rock I fell into a third world like a new dimension. I felt like I was falling down slowly like a feather seeing this surreal starry sky better than anything I've ever seen before and just felt this power inside me like I could do anything. I started reliving my life seeing to back when I was just a young kid back in the 70s running to my father for cookies and milk eating my moms homemade bread to my very first bust then getting married to my wife. Then I herd police sirens and it wasn't in my dream I suddenly snapped back and realized I was edging on the rock uncontrollably and couldn't stop they tried arresting me but I busted my load all over there faces and then ran and I escaped.

Share the details of my experience…can one explain the wonders of the stars? The dignity of a mountain, standing through the ages. The thunder echoes through the night and yet we cannot capture this beauty.

To visit this monument excels the man to a higher plane. The small squabbles of the day seem to fade away, slowly replaced with a calm stillness. Scars heal and a warm light never fails to find one who can make the climb. The sure, sharp and true edges have their counterpart of the smooth, gentle edges. Both coexisting in a harmony only realized by a hand, delivering the forgotten memory of a child, cold and weary of a busy day spent in play, returning to a warm loving home. Full of light and love. To those who climb this, we understand it is our eighth wonder rediscovered. Though it was once closed we rejoice in its reopening.
