Normally would give 4 to five stars for this location, except for the incredibly poor housekeeping sometimes. This was my third time they've thrown out items carelessly thinking it was trash within my room. Items that aren't near the trash, sitting on a table, wrapped up and put away.

We stayed at Western Budget Whitecourt, for just one night, and it was probably the best relaxing night.
The place is wide, clean and the smell is refreshing.
The Manager of the Motel is extremely friendly, kind and most specially hospitable.
And one thing in the motel is there's a room that you can bring your small pet.
The Price we paid was absolutely worth it.
I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to the manager for the service and care we received at Western Budget Whitecourt.
We probably recommend to all my friends and family.
Thank you again for such a extravagant service. ☺️

The staff was friendly, the rooms are nice and clean. My son and I rented the kitchenette room, the fireplace heater was nice and warm. The pool was open. The free breakfast was really handy for us. We will stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful clean rooms. The jacuzzi rooms are the best and it's such a great price for everything that comes with the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was really nice too with a great selection to choose from. The front desk employees were very kind and welcoming as well.

They gave us a room close to the hair salon like i had asked for, the rooms were tidy and nice! They also left me a cute gift basket in my room as it was the night before my wedding. Only reason i didnt give 5/5 stars is that the pool wasnt filled and the mattress was a bit too firm. Overall a good place to stay!

Great room for the price! Staff was amazing and even treated me a bottle of wine and a cupcake for my birthday! Clean, quiet and continental breakfast! The A/C was great as we're having a heat wave! The jetted bath tub was wonderful! Would visit again!

On a whim we booked this hotel before spending the day at the Rotary Tube park and Hard Luck Canyon and the service by Glenna (manager) was excellent. She offered suggestions of places to visit and extended our checkout time with no hesitation! The room was big and having a kitchenette was convenient for travelling with the kids.

The free breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. The only thing that would have made this trip better was having the pool
Open! (Hopefully by next visit).

Easy check in, clean and very affordable. No pool and that was fine by us. Our 96 yr old traveling companion was considered from booking to departure. Great continental breakfast. Take out at Mountainview restaurant and booster juice a few mins away. Met a nice Mennonite couple from Taber at breakfast. Highly recommending this location. Quiet, clean, affordable, and very friendly staff! Easy access on and off hwy 43. Convenience store and Mr Mike's other side of the lot (liquor store also).
