3e visite à cet hôtel bien situé, propre, spacieux. Le stationnement de la ville est facile d’accès. Le check-in est facile à travers le restaurant. Les chambres sont bien isolées. Rien à dire. Prix vraiment abordable en comparaison aux autres hôtels de grandes chaînes. Vraiment un bel établissement.

L'hôtel est très bien situé au centre ville.||Le propriétaire (Marc) était super sympa.||La suite 306 (avec petite cuisine) était très jolie, moderne et confortable, très ||propre. Nous recommandons vivement cette établissement avec un excellent rapport||qualité prix.

Very good place to stay in downtown Guelph. We stayed here for one night and we had a great time. The check-in was a bit different than usual hotels but it was smooth and the waitress very friendly. The rooms are modern, clean, spacious and renovated. We had everything we needed. Just be aware it's stair access only, but it's not a large building so no big deal. We would recommend to anyone and will be returning on our next trip to Guelph.

Nice hotel. Staff were very accommodating. Right downtown and close to everything! Go train station is just around the corner, 3 minute walk. Very easy hotel to reach if you are flying. We flew porter to Toronto - took the shuttle to union station and there was a direct go train to Guelph. Would recommend.

The reservation system is a call center somewhere international. The voice on the phone was obviously ignorant of the hotel. He said there is on-site parking but it is a free pass to park in a municipal parkade down the road. The price was different than the quote. There is no front desk, you need to get your pass code from the barmaid/waitress in the restaurant below while she answers phones and serves tables. But the room was very nice. The king suite was a fully contained and nicely equipped apartment. It was noisy from the street even in the middle of the night in my 3rd storey walk-up room. It was clean, but the management|eservation service was difficult and disappointing.

The novelty of being in a historical building is pretty cool, and the rooms are well laid out. The hotel being in downtown Guelph is very convenient.

The lack of front desk staff wasn't great. It felt very awkward checking in at the bar with all of our bags, then going back out to a separate building to our rooms. The hotel also isn't attached to any secured parking, you have to walk all the way around the building and through a city-owned parking garage to get to your car, which is inconvenient at best.

Our bathroom was a little bit gross. The showers were not clean, and there was mould buildup on the caulking between the tub and the wall and calcium buildup between the tiles on the wall. The faucet in the shower didn't work properly, so we couldn't get very much water pressure from the shower head. It's a fixed showerhead too, rather than a detachable one, which is also inconvenient.

The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress had an old blood stain on it. It was an old spring bed that shaked and creaked anytime you moved.

The air conditioner was awful. Super loud, to the point where we couldn't sleep with it on, but we unfortunately stayed in the middle of a heatwave so the options were trying to sleep in a super hot room or a super loud room.

They say they use sound-proof windows on their website but I feel like this is an exaggeration. Our window faced the street and it was extremely loud with people yelling and cars racing up and down the street.

We don't plan on staying here again.
