Vous serez accueillis de la façon la plus charmante qui soit. C'est une famille absolument adorable. Tout est fait pour vous faire aimer le lieu. Les rocking-chair sur la terrasse sont très sympa. Les chambres bien équipées. Le motel est dans son "jus" côté décoration, mais ça a son charme. Super vue sur l'océan. On vous conseille de mettre la climatisation quand vous partez vous balader car très bruyante. Seul défaut : on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre d'à côté.

Très bon accueil et logement refait, tout en simplicité, très propre et avec l’essentiel ! Literie confortable, cuisine bien équipée! Près de nombreux restaurant et du port (5mn).|Étape parfaite avant la traversée pour l’île de Vancouver.

This place was really clean. The air conditioner was ductless unit that was very quiet. The hotel is right across the street from Coastal Eatery which is a phenomenal place to have dinner and it's about 2 minutes drive to the ferry. It's the perfect little spot and the views from up top in units 10 to 14 are worth the Sunshine Coast Loop ride.

We stayed at the Westview Centre on the advice of my daughter. She was right - it is a little gem. The pictures capture it perfectly - very clean and the beds are comfortable. Every staff person we spoke to were friendly and helpful. This is not a Hilton nor is it trying to be one - funky, comfortable and perfect location. The driveway is a little daunting and if you want a comfortable, pleasant motel, with a screamingly great view, this place is for you.

Needing a place to stay in Powell river for only one night, I booked with Westview with hesitation. However, we were completely caught by suprise and the stay exceeded our expectations. Our room had a lovely ocean view, the room was very clean and the bathroom was perfect. The place is not luxurious by any means, but for the price and location it is great.

Westview Centre Motel is a hidden gem and I will be staying here again next time I'm in Powell River.

I stayed here towards the end of Mar 2025 booking the same day. I found Powell River to be a tougher town to book than many - with not a lot of the "chain" hotels there (chain hotels benefit from consistency - which can be both a good and bad thing). I called them in the morning from Comox to get a feel for the place and I liked the voice of the person on the other end. I determined that it was likely not to be full later that night but the next night was likely full. || I called back later from the Comox - Powell River ferry (after 3:15) and booked. The price was in line with the other places I stayed earlier in the week so I was satisfied. ||When we got there we were greeted by a desk clerk with personality (Metallica hoody) who was more efficient than anyone in recent memory. There are probably no more than 22 units and each unit has a parking spot right out front. We got #12 which was right at the top of the property. The motel is on a pretty steep hill but that means that we had a great view of Georgia Strait and the mountains of Vancouver Island. ||the place was newly remodeled and had a kitchenette, microwave and fridge, new floors, and paint. There was fast internet and some plates, cutlery and pots were available. The floors were a bit squooshy in parts which might get annoying if we were there longer than 1 night. We were delighted with this stay and I would stay again. It is within walking distance to the ferry terminal and we walked to a local Thai Restaurant (Thaidal Zone).

I had to change rooms…. as the drains kept backing up continuously…I told the owner several times, she tried to fix it herself with the help of her son.
She finally got a plumber.
She then went to Vancouver, and had a member of her staff give ME the bill from the plumber lol
I have my hair done at a Salon, but according to this woman I had clogged the pipes with my hair.
I believe because I was there a while, and a senior… she tried to take advantage of me!
Extremely poor business practice, and using her staff instead of coming to me herself
That speaks volumes about her character.

The staff are excellent extremely helpful.

Great clean place. Affordable with Lovely staff. They didn't have sugar in the room for my coffee but he showed up with some in the morning 🥳 great service.
