First off the staff was lovely. No issues with them whatsoever. The hotel however was abysmal. Stayed there in July and there's no a/c in any of the rooms. The standing fan we had was broken and wouldn't rotate and opening the windows did nothing because they only open to an enclosed hallway. Couldn't even access ice from the ice machine in the morning because the door to the lobby where it was located was locked until noon and checkout is at 11. The bed was caving in in the middle as well.
Definitely not worth the price we paid. Stayed at another inn in Gandor that was only $10 more a night and had AC, a pool, and a complete breakfast included in the price.

While my fiancé and I were traveling we decided to stop in Grandfalls and needed a room on short notice. We called the Westwood Inn and Joanie answered the phone and was so sweet. She was able to accommodate us even on such short notice. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Room was very cozy, super comfortable beds. Very affordable as well.

Amazing staff they go out of their way to help your experience to be the best. nice updated rooms. Theirs a restaurant down the road 2 minute walk away with the best food in grand falls. But the staff is what makes this place worth it with a person newly back to nfld and having disabilities they help me alot. Highly recommend. Its an older place but they have updated alot of the rooms.

The room was very large but the two beds were so close to the bathroom it made it hard to get to bathroom. No air conditioning had a window opening to hallway. No fans. Very uncomfortable with no air conditioning in July

Was on the 4 th floor, carpet in room had to be down 30 years, filthy dirty. They were replacing flooring in other room with plank flooring, a huge improvement. Price charged did not reflect the quality of the room. In my opinion they would have been better off saying they were full than rent anything that dirty I Board dogs my kennel is cleaner. Nothing against the house keeping staff, the rest of the room was clean and tidy, hard job for them to clean anything that old or have pride in their work.

Rooms have no windows to the outside and no AC. If there were a fire in the hallway, you would be trapped in your room. Office hours are odd. The location was okay and there is a fantastic restaurant next door. Also appreciated them allowing my dog to stay. Roadside billboard advertised free breakfast but the office doesn't open until noon.

Nice lounge with TV's on site and the best restaurant in central NL right next door.

It was arranged for our crew to stay 2 nights here while we worked in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by spacious, clean room and friendly service. The only reason for the 4 star was: no fridge or microwave in the room, however, ice machine was handy and full. Beautiful newfie front desk/bartender. Continental breakfast and vending machines only. A little bit out of town. Downtown full service apartments for hire too. We stayed there last week... they rock.! Laundry was included. It's worth checking out. Rates were average.
