Great place! It has a fitness center, basketball court inside the gym, pool, hot tub, change rooms, living wall, and the Ted Wake Center (a big room with a kitchen with an open window).

Pool: It is smaller. I know a couple of the lifeguards & swim instructors here. I haven't seen them work at the pool, but they have given many hours as volunteers. They are really amazing people! The pool is noisy (echos) due to the design of the room. I have volunteered on a number of field trips here with schools, and the kids can barely hear you when you raise your voice for basic instructions. The diving board is loud when in use. They have a ramp in the pool and a device for kids in wheelchairs that they can use in the water. One of the kids on the trip could use it, but the other one had to stay outside of the pool (just outside of the pool doors). There is a ramp there that allowed him to move around. He enjoyed speeding around on that. The kids came for a science field trip here. They used the living wall (inside the pool area) and conducted buoyancy experiments in the pool using empty water battles and a piece of clay.

Fitness Center: They have a number of pieces of equipment, but it is small. It is closer to a hotel-sized one than the YMCA. Some of the machines looked worn. They have a cleaning station. Washrooms are down the hall. See my pics for details. There is a fee for each use, a membership, or you can buy passes for a certain number of times. I was surprised that it wasn't a lot cheaper than the YMCA if you want to try it out for a short while (if you go regularly, like I do 3x /week).

Gym: My tween has enjoyed using the gym here a bit.

Ted Wake Center: Great room that they previously ran an amazing youth program on Friday nights, but now have stopped. They had pizza and snacks, swimming, basketball, and video games for $4.07 once a month. My daughter and her friend loved this program, but now they only have basketball on Fridays. It was such a popular program; 40 tweens and teens would come each time. I have no idea why they cancelled it.

Been liking this place for open swim recently ! Today the life guard was great! They gave me the confidence to jump off the diving board for the first time and gave my friend tips to be able to drive !

Family change room is very small. No space to help your children get changed. Individual stalls were few, cramped, and unavailable with participants leaving their clothing in them. The family change room is obviously not used by families, as there were only adults lounging and loitering around in that tiny space.

Nice but odd length (23.5m - just shy of 26 yards) pool with a living wall that helps air quality and large windows at the shallow end - have seen the sun set from the wall between intervals countless times, and it's nice and bright on a sunny afternoon. The hot tub is lovely when it's actually operating, but the showers in the women's wet changeroom have virtually no water pressure. Lane swim hours seem to get shorter and less convenient each year, but it remains a decent place to knock out a few thousand yards.

Sad to see they took away some of our favorite swim times!
Staff is usually pretty friendly. A few of them have been there a long time since I was a kid!
The place generally is pretty clean and the pool is nice. Life Guards have always been great!

They have a nice pool and stuff, but after swimming in it, I have got a terrible headache. I don't know if it was from the water or even if it was from here. But still, they have really good staff and service. Recommend it! I don't feel like being rude, the receptionist we had to lay was a male and was nice, he gave me and my mom a discount.
