We spent five nights at the RV Park. It is spotlessly clean with pots of flowers at every site among the trees. The washroom and laundry facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. Vera and Jim are very welcoming and helpful with knowledge of Terrace. We returned to the campsite a few days later on our way home and felt like we had come home to a friend when we arrived. We would definitely stay again, either in the Motel or the RV Park.

what a lovely spot with such clean comfortable rooms. The wifi here was excellent - never dropped once during the week we stayed there. The owners Jim and Vera are always there to welcome you or answer any questions with a smile. Vera suggested a day trip to Hyder Alaska this time for us and we loved it. Saw lots of bears, giant marmots and other wildlife. No doubt we will definitely book here on our next visit to Terrace.

We arrived on bicycles and were given a nice patch of lawn plus the use of the pergola for cooking and a bit of power to charge our phones. The grounds are well kept and facilities very good. Also a good price for our small tent camping. |The owners are friendly and show pride in the place with clean facilities and nice gardens.

One thing about camping in Northern BC, you can always count on everyone being very friendly. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and even offered us free herbs from a little herb garden growing next to our site. We were only staying for one night, but we wanted showers and coffee for the morning as we knew we were catching the ferry the next day. There was free wifi, and it probably was fast, had we been closer to the wifi signal. One HUGE drawback is that there are very loud trains going past. But to be quite honest, this does not take away from the charm of Wild Duck. The site we were in was large, and fit us very well, we live in a 34 foot motor coach, so we are very big. I would recommend Wild Duck for an overnight visit.

Only stayed here for one night so far as my next night is depending on who has TSN 5 tomorrow so I can catch a soccer game .. that being said this is a FANTASTIC motel to spend a night.

Super comfortable beds, excellent location , super friendly owners. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. The owners are meticulous in the detail and nice touches like complimentary coffee in the room is a bonus.

Please also note that I have stayed in a few places in Terrace now on days off from work and for me this is a favourite. Also nice when you get good value for money as I believe this motel beats more expensive motels/ hotels closer to the downtown core.

This little place is kept very clean and tidy, very friendly owners. That being said for an RV park it is very tight. you are straight across from the other rvs with very limited space for unhooking and parking a vehicle. I had a 28' travel trailer and a tundra.||The sites are very short with enough space to open my awning halfway. They do have full hook ups water/sani/30amp. The sites have no privacy between spots. It seems they do have alot of rvs that stay for long periods.||That being said I was only able to give it an average rating for the RV side of their business.

I cannot say enough about how nice these people treated me! I was stopping in Terrace for the night, car camping, and called them late (after hours). Surprisingly I got an answer on the other end. He said the campground was full but asked what kind of setup I had. When I told him I was camping in my car & just needed electric if he had it, he told me to come on by & they'd find a spot for me. His wife was gave me a Kermode Bear pin and offered me other items to welcome me. He found a spot for me to park then told me where to plug in. He offered an extension cord & help getting me set up, but I told him I had brought one. The price was very low. The shower room was just enough for what I needed & most importantly, I felt safe there!

Absolutely a great place to stay, clean, nice sites. The owners are the nicest people and helpful. Nice clean laundry. We were pleasantly surprised, used to live here but who camps in there own town. We will be back. Terrace has really stepped up and looks so nice.
