Woke up this morning in my own bed, sad not hearing the wonderful calls of ORCA! Hands down this vacation in my opinion cannot be replicated! From day one, first thing after our yoga paddle; off in the distance we heard the whoosh of air from a small pod of Orca! Amazing to see them come up to the boats and swim right under us! From then on in we saw something every paddle, or from the shore! We saw a black bear eating sea food, eagles passing by, humpback whales and porpoises swimming in front of camp, it was just awesome! The experience is quite refreshing and restful at the same time! We took advantage of the sauna and hot tub, which was welcomed after our long paddles in the afternoon! Our group so appreciated the kind and informative staff. Rachel, Josh, Tashelle, Sameer, and Bea, took the time to make us feel right at home! All were very knowledgeable on our paddles, of local wild life, paddling instruction, and had our safety always top of mind, even when we had a Tsunami warning! Best camp ever!
A huge shout out to Jeff, Tyler and Gerry providing a safe and informative trip up and down the coast! We saw humpbacks on the way home! Nice way to finish a great trip, this one will be a whale of a tale! All the best to the wonderful people we met there from around the world!

Absolutely an amazing camp experience. The crew at Campbell River whale watching and Wild Coast Adventures are top notch professionals. Orca camp is a premium setup and it would be very difficult to not enjoy this experience as it is intended to be; It's simply awesome!

I had my best time ever here. The orca camp is right outside of Robson Bight Ecological Reserve and therefor we were super lucky and saw orcas multiple times during our trip. Kayaking was so much fun and the guides ensured that we made the most out of everyday and the tours were doable for everyone in the team. On those trips they explained a lot about wildlife and nature around camp which was great. But still we had a lot of time to just inhale and be with the nature. When it comes to wildlife we saw it all, dolphins, humpbacks, purpoise, sea lions, bears, you name it. Feel super blessed by the great guide team we had because they ensured we got to see all this. Thanks to Laura, Brady, Diana and Josh. Wehen returning to the camp we had super super good and freshly cooked meals. It’s worth getting to the camp only foodwise I would say. Thank you for having me and I will come back this has been an experienced a lifetime which I will never forget!

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on an expedition around Read Island, and I can confidently say it was an experience of a lifetime. The adventure was made even more special thanks to an incredible group of fellow adventurers and our outstanding guides, Vince and Allyson.

The food provided on the expedition was nothing short of amazing. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, adding a gourmet touch to our outdoor adventure. The attention to detail in catering was evident, making every dining experience a highlight of the trip.

The camping gear provided was great, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The camping spots chosen by our guides were picturesque and well-selected, offering breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility that perfectly complemented the rugged beauty of Read Island.

Overall, the expedition was truly amazing. The combination of great company, exceptional guides, delicious food, and stunning scenery made for an unforgettable experience. Not to mention the humpback whales and orcas we go to see! I highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Read Island with the guidance of true professionals.

I recently went on the three night, four day Orca Camp trip. It far exceeded my expectations on all fronts! Brady, Diana and Laura were fun, knowledgable guides and Chef Josh whipped up amazing meals that kept us full at all times. The food was seriously next level!

The camp is designed so that you can kayak three times a day, or pick and choose when you want to get out on the water. If you don't go out, there's plenty to do with the hot tub, sauna, fire pits, cold plunge and amazing scenery. We were lucky enough to see orcas, humpbacks, bears and dolphins on our trip as well.

The glamping tents are super comfortable and you even get power over night to charge up your phone which was a nice surprise. If I ever get the chance, I will definitely go back to this magical place!

The Orca Camp experience was phenomenal. We had some very cool wildlife sightings (thanks Laura, Diana and Brady!) - and the food prepared by Chef Josh was plentiful and tasty. I would've been happy to sleep on the ground to see orcas, but definitely appreciated the comforts of the Camp. Highly recommend!

I met like minded people on the Whales, Wildlife and Wilderness Adventure Expedition from all around the world. We saw humpback whales, white fin dolphins, sea lions, many seals, a sea otters and eagles, while kayaking and on the zodiac boat. Great food, excellent hard working guides, and simply being surrounded by the sea, forest, mountains, made this journey a wonderful memorable experience. Kayaking was dreamy with the beautiful natural surroundings. No regrets … wonderful memories…
