Grew up here since I was in my mom stomach, 10/10 trailer park it’s amazing, just gotta keep an eye out for some people in the park lol

For the actual park and its amenities, I give this place 4 stars. For the interaction with trailer owners, I give it 2 stars.

There are over 200 trailers located in this park. The pool was reasonably clean, though it seems they may only do an official cleaning of it weekly, as in the corner of the pool was a buildup of sunblock lotion from swimmers, and it stayed there the entire week we were there. The pool has a shallow end, great for kids and a deeper end, great for swimming and for taller adults. The park is great for strolling around, looking at some really amazing trailers. Our particular trailer, #303, was clean and well maintained. The only thing that was not clean was the BBQ, which by the looks of it wasn't cleaned for a very long time, causing some incredible flareups when cooking. But otherwise, trailer exceeded my expectations.
Interaction with the owner was sub-par. The owner of the trailer is across the path inside another trailer. I certainly would not use the word "Friendly" when talking to her. We survived, but other campers told us stories of their owners who were friendly, talkative, gave them bunch of information about the area, helped them out, etc. Our owner tried to come back half way through the week to collect more money. Good thing we had all of our email communication handy, and receipts.

The rest of the park staff are super friendly! I just would not recommend renting #303 unless you are okay with the unfriendliness and willing to keep all your communication handy on your phone, and receipts.

We rented a trailer here for a week at the end of July. Very impressed! The park is extremely well maintained, with river access, an immaculate salt water swimming pool, a community hall and a mini golf course. The residents are very friendly and informative. Only a 5 minute drive into Bayfield where we enjoyed the charming town and the beach on Lake Huron. Will be back!

Amazing atmosphere, my friends just moved here and I plan to spend quite a bit of time visiting. They have a beautiful pool all kinds of things to do, very well organized and also very well maintained. Its such a family place to visit I can't wait to be able to camp there and have fun with all the things planned for the season. It is such a great community I am so glad I get to be a part of it. Come on 2019 camping ❤

We had a great opportunity to have a wonderful group family vacation that ultimately fell short of our expectations. Our family has been coming for 15+ years.
Upon our arrival July 14/2016, we were made aware of an "open air" fire ban.
With all due respect, upon speaking with two Fire Chiefs, (and reading exceptions to the fire ban), we find your decision to implement the ban, unfounded. Quoted as follows from the media released ban states:
"The only exceptions to this ban are "cooking fires" within approved camp grounds. Cooking fires are permitted on camp sites from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
After midnight, all fires must be completely extinguished."
The leniency exemption was intended to make the camping experience pleasurable. The manager of this particular park has the right to address the recommendations of the fire chief(s), with the board. In this particular case, the board failed to research and take this into consideration.
We contacted all the other campsites in the area, and found they were allowing the exemption rule. (One campsite was also "not" allowing open fires, but was not made aware of this exemption.)
The "board" has failed to research and follow through with owner, renters, and shareholder wishes. I have suspicion that behaviour like this will lead to "Wildwood By The River" having a "Gestapo-like" board, and no campers willing to sacrifice their vacation time to travel to such retentive attitudes.
I feel strongly against recommending either purchasing or attending this particular camp ground.

We love Wildwood by the river! Rent a trailer from our friend and have a marvelous time. Pool is great. Clean and warm. The playground is fun and so is the mini put.
