I chatted with two different people on WM's website, neither of which could give me a phone number to the transfer station. I was looking to see what the rates were for residential disposal based on kilograms or tons as the information is not available anywhere. All three numbers that they gave me did not work. There is very little information about the rates here though. The two individuals I chatted with were very nice. I am disappointed that WM is not more transparent with their pricing.

We get a monthly bin rental and service. The drivers are great, the customer service reps on the phone are good to work with. The website and payment portal are easy to use.
It's Waste Management's corporate structure that is challenging with its lack of seasonal services for seasonal businesses, ever increasing bills (over $100 CDN per month to have an unused bin sit at my business for 7 months of the year-but if I send it back at the end of the season I will not be allowed to sign on the next year).
Their contract is one-sided, they can change the contract part-way through, but if it no longer works for you, you can't leave without penalty.
As the bins get older and wear out, you have to pay to get them swapped out, even if you have had the same ones for years and years.
Also, they offer a discount through our industry association but no-one at Waste Management knows anything about it, so they get free advertising but don't offer any kind of actual discount. :-/

Check your contracts, check your bills, WM extends contracts and increases prices automatically by adding a line on the bill. If you miss it and try to cancel , they will charge you for the length of the contract without providing service.

Edit: thanks for replying, nothing came out contacting customer service. They said its WM policy that WM uses implicit (it is assumed you agree ) consents including price increase, contract extension etc., no separate notices of changes are sent, they can add a fine print on the bill and if you miss it, WM assumes you agree Customer service also confirmed cancelling service is super expensive and even more expensive than keeping the service because in case of cancellation , WM will charge lots of money for removing bins in addition to the regular service fee that you would have to pay even if you are not receiving the service.

We started recycle pick up with WM and they were great I spoke to the Muriel and she set everything up and explained everything and told us the box would be delivered Monday and our first pick up would be Wednesday it all went good and the prices are good we would highly recommend them to everyone

We have had the best service you could ask for from Waste Management for many years. The driver is very courteous. We highly recommend Waste Management.
