In need up of an update. Our room was "non smoking" but there was enough smoke to notice but not enough for us to complain. We were surprised to be upgraded us to a whirlpool sweet. But we didn't trust it to try and use it. It's the small things. Some one smeared caulking all over the shower head to try and seal it. Tin tape to try and seal around the air conditioner. The old carpet needs to go. Just take pride in your hotel and fix it up.

I stayed one night at this hotel and I was very disappointed. The bedsheets were dirty, with visible stains as soon as I arrived. It was so disgusting that I couldn’t even lie on them. Instead, I slept on clean towels I had brought with me, because I didn’t trust the hotel bedding.

I noticed this around 1 AM, when I was exhausted. At that time, there was no way I could ask for housekeeping. The next morning, I reported the issue at the front desk and asked for a partial refund, which I thought was a reasonable request given the condition of the room. They only offered me $10(that I did not take), and told me I should’ve called to have the room cleaned… at 1 AM? Cleanliness should be checked before a guest checks in — it’s not the guest’s responsibility to verify that the room is clean.

I took photos as proof, which I’m attaching here so you can judge for yourself.

Honestly, I do not recommend this hotel, and I won’t be staying here again.

This hotel is a scam. they dont pay you the deposit back!

I visited it mid october for one night, I arrived at 2 AM in the morning and left again at 9AM. In the beginning you need to pay 150 CAD in advance as a cleaning deposit, after more than one month i didnt get the deposit back. I used the room only to get some sleep, so it was barely used and theres no reason to hold the money back. I booked over booking.com and messaged them several time, they did not answer me. I also tried to email them, but the email apparently doesnt exist. It feels like a scam and the hotel was really shad. Be aware that you wont only pay 100 cad per night, in the end it will be over 250 CAD because they dont pay you back their money!

I really enjoyed my sleep. They gave complimentary breakfast, but only 1 complaint, the meat option was pork only products. Perhaps turkey, beef, or veggie meat options would also be a wonderful thing. When I asked for more washcloths, I got them very fast. Their service is excellent! Thanks everyone to the front desk person that helps us with the room situation, the beautiful lady that prepared breakfast, the French man that has been there for 30 years, and the pretty lady that brought me the washcloths. We had the opportunity to stay at t
his establishment for one night. We are totally disgusted and very unhappy.
The air conditioner didn't work properly, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower has no water pressure. The walls are paper thin. The offer a free breakfast. The eggs are powdered, the home fries had no flavor. They were also cold.
Upon check in they asked us for ID, and then proceeded to try to take a photo of my licence. I stopped them and gave them my health card. They could have just written the information down. i had to let them or they would have cancelled the booking. We had no choice as it was late and the price was in our price range
We will never come back.

We stayed for 2 night because of our reception in woodbine. the only thing that was good about the room was their AC, it was cold during these hot summer days. But list for bad things are long. Bathroom was clogged & not cleaned. We called to get it fixed and we were told it’s clogged because of city and there is nothing they can do. they sent someone in for cleaning which made NO difference. The room in general felt damp and sheets the pillows all felt like they were damp. There was mosquitoes inside room, so I had restless night. Breakfast was garbage, one of the worst I had in my life, coffee was cold. Breakfast location looked like we were sitting in storage. For the premium $ we paid this was pathetic. We needed an extra room for 4 hours for our guests to get ready for event and after spending thousands and thousands of dollars they still charged us more than half the day fees for the room. The key for the rooms kept on not working. I had to go reception 4 times. They had lots of parking space but they should also invest in EV chargers. We only booked this because we wanted ease of location for our reception. If I were you, I would think twice before booking the room but it is very convenient. Not Recommended

AWFUL! Complete scam. I had prepaid the room but had to put a deposit on my credit card upon check in - the deposit was equal to one night’s stay. After check out they never refunded the deposit. I had to email them and call them several times, and still they never refunded the deposit. Scammers the whole lot of them. On hotels.com reviews I later saw that this scam is used on multiple guests!!!

We had reserved a room for one night through Booking.com, paying on site. When we arrived at 9:00 PM and wanted to check in, we were told the room had been canceled. Apparently, we were late, even though the booking confirmation stated that check-in was possible until midnight. The room was canceled without any notification. The staff member was not at all accommodating, we received no assistance whatsoever, and we were left stranded in Toronto late at night without a place to stay. An absolute disgrace.
