I can't express enough how much I love Woodland Cedar Family Resort! After visiting at least 6 to 7 times, it truly feels like my home away from home. The natural beauty that surrounds the resort is absolutely breathtaking, and the best part is that it comes at an incredibly affordable price. Each visit only deepens my appreciation for this wonderful gem tucked away at Tiny Beaches, Canada.

The hospitality and generosity of the owners make every stay even more special, and I always leave with wonderful memories. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you, Woodland Cedar, for providing such a magical experience!

Overall experience was great. Rooms were clean just make sure you bring your own bed sheets & pillows as they don't provide. Service was great. Owner is very kind and helpful. Location was the best location. Close to grocery store that also comes with liquor, food, firewood to buy. Walking distance to Tiny beach area. 10-15 mins drive away from dollar tree and walmart. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely time with my family here . Wife and kids had a wonderful time fishing and spending time on the beach. The hosts were amazing and were kind enough to answer all our questions during our stay.

The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Also there are a bunch of stores nearby that made it very convienent. I would recommend this place to anyone with kids or a big group looking for a good time.

This place was ran greatly by PREVIOUS OWNERS. The upkeep and customer service WAS great. Now the place deserves review in the negatives. The place itself is extremely filthy. You get dirty, moulded dishes. Any supplies Provided such as fan or AC do not function properly. They do not provide you with the essentials that they advertise, such as toilet paper or garbage bags. The reason the previous owners sold this place is that it is extremely old and falling apart. The filth, the bugs, the mould inside the cottages, the beds are all terrible.
The current owners unfortunately do not know the concept of customer service. They nod their heads with smiles, say ok ok and walk away. But then you’re completely forgotten about. No matter what you asked for. They behave extremely rudely with you. They are completely unorganized. We had to help another family get settled when they arrived. Because they had no instructions on what to do or where to go. There is no staff to help you or guide you. Families show up and are left stranded outside or in their cars for hours (after a long drive) before the owners respond via text or phone call. Just to tell them to wait until they show up to organize. My family was going to this cottage for 6 years in a row. But after our stay last week, we are done with this place for good. We had booked the cottage for three weeks, but my family could not stand past the first week. We cancelled what was left and came home. Completely ruining our summer plans for the kids.
Please save yourself the misery, stress and definitely your money. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL. All the positive reviews are from the past when the previous owners ran the cottage.

Hope this review helps everyone while booking this cottage space this summer. This is a mid century cottage property build close to cleanest waters 20 min away from wasaga beach. We have visited this cottage space year after year. New owners are nicest people who have tried to go above and beyond to save this property. Each year as we visit there are new upgrades ,this year we were welcomed by AC units. New floors in each cottage space fresh coat of paint. For price they ask it’s a steal. Remembering the fact that it is a “family” cottage the owners try to steer clear of loud noisy people who believe if they paid for the place they can wreck and cause intentional damage to the property. Space is so self efficient for a camping style vacation. It’s not lux it’s a humble get away. Some people who have left poor reviews clearly out of personal grudge who have been blacklisted for destroying the property.

In this growing inflation I have utterly grateful affordable places like these still exist so some people can still have a little summer get away.

I am just so appreciative I don’t have to deal with crowd in wasaga and can drive 20 min to tiny in these cottages for peace and quiet

We had an extremely terrible staycation at this horrible cottage. We booked a 2-night stay and encountered numerous difficulties. The cleanliness of the place was highly questionable; it didn’t seem like it was cleaned at all. The toilet clogged so often that we had to use the nearby Walmart, and there were no locks on the bathroom door. The caretakers were unresponsive and even asked us to remove the clog ourselves, handing us a plunger. Our long weekend was wasted at the wrong place. Think twice before booking here.

One of the best stays I ever had. If you want something peaceful and want to stay away from the hustle bustle of Wasaga, this place is you best option and not too far from there.

We rented 3 cottages for a week for our group of 10 family members, all adults. Deepa and family take great care of the property and they were very attentive to our needs. They checked on us several times throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The cottages were clean and well-maintained. The 3-bedroom cottage has its own fire pit and we enjoyed campfires with our whole group in the private yard. ||It’s a great location close to the beach, and just a short drive to the towns of Wasaga Beach and Elmvale. Midland is also fairly close and has shopping and waterfront dining. ||We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
