This is the only hotel in Turner Valley, now under new ownership, and seems to be a work in progress. When we arrived, we discovered that they had lost our reservation but fortunately (?) for us there were rooms available. There is no computer to manage reservations and no one on the front desk, just a sign indicating that you had to go to the kitchen to get assistance. Apparently the rooms have been redone with new engineered flooring but the entry ways and bathrooms are still vintage 1970's....having said that everthing is very clean. Our airconditioning wasn't working but the new owner came and soon got it working. The public areas of the hotel i.e. carpet, hallways, are still 1970's minus underlay and baseboards. Windows do not open (at least in our room) and plastic blinds did not close sufficiently to keep out early morning light. But as I said before, it was clean and very quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the hotel has 24 rooms and I think it was full; perhaps because of having no competition the owner is not in a rush to modernize it. Wifi was free and it worked. We had breakfast in the morning in what seemed to be a very large and disorganized room layout. One server looked after all the tables...I think it was hard for him to keep coffee coming and picking up orders from the kitchen. But the food was good and cooked to order. You also paid him at the front desk on your way out. However, I think next time I will look to a bed and breakfast in the area rather than stay back here again.

Awesome place! We stayed in the rooms for a wedding and they were super clean and renovated. Loved their bar as well! Awesome food for cheap prices. Our bartender was courteous and super quick, and he was very friendly. Only downside, was that the bar closed at 10pm on a Friday.

Well, I've been staying here for 4 years everytime I come through for work. I'll start with, " I miss the old owners!!" So after I tried to get ahold of the people running the establishment for 4 days straight. I did finally get ahold of someone. But I had to message the local Italian restaurant in hotel to have someone contact me. Then I get there after a 15hr work day, and they informed me, that they no longer can take a credit card over the phone. Well, with this being a work trip, the room needed to be paid with credit card over the phone. So no biggie, I paid for it myself. Then we proceeded to the room that I have stayed in the last 3 times I was there. Opened the door, and no mini fridge or coffee pot to be seen. So after we look around, noticed there was NO and I repeat NO toilet paper in the bathroom. Well after I had my shower in my disgusting shower with mold around the tub and along shower rod. I proceeded to my bed, hopped on and Bam! I swear there was no mattress, only box spring! But no it was a mattress, just harder then the rocks in the parking lot! Needless to say, I will drive the 6 extra minutes to Blackdiamond east and get my room. Sorry to see this place go so far down hill. This will be my last visit to the Woodstock!

The new owners have done an amazing job renovating! ! Food is very good . Rooms are also very good.the bar is large with stage for live entertainment, billiards tables , and vlt's. Prices are very good.best Caesar I've had in awhile!! Large patio.Owners and staff are awesome you feel like you have known them forever and they treat as such .!!! Try the flapper pie if avalible!!!

The new owner went out of his way to accommodate a very large family gathering to make it extra special, which it was. ||We were given his restaurant which couldn’t have been a nicer venue, as the place is lovely, bright and modern with very comfy chairs, which was a bonus with many elderly people attending.||The food was delicious! ||The newly renovated rooms and furnishings are beautiful with great art work on the walls, really nice.||||Have to make a special mention of his staff who were so friendly and patient, absolutely the best service we’ve seen in a very long time. ||||Can’t thank you all enough for everything! Thank you so much everyone!

Our group of 10 stayed at the Woodstock for our annual golf trip. Blackie, the owner and John the manager treated us like family. Blackie and John went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Rooms were clean and quite. Try out the wings in the Woodstock bar - they are exceptional !

Our room was recently all renovated and was very clean and new. It looked and smelled fresh and nice. My only complaint was there was NO hot water. I tried calling the front desk to ask about it but no one answered. I feel I paid too much since I had no coffee or hot water. The pub had great staff, good food and good service and awesome big patio.
