Beautiful walking trail through a unique ecosystem! Outhouse at the trailhead, with ample parking and a couple picnic tables. This park connects to the ecological reserve for environmental studies.

What a cool place to walk and explore. Found so many cool little discoveries. Flowers, trees, birds and berries. So much to see. This is a place I will be visiting again this year I hope. There are more than one trail to explore so come check it out. It is also a bog.

Love these little tucked away hikes on the island. Easy trails with plenty of signage. Slightly different big terrain. Good for walking the dogs for a couple of hours if you do an extended walk into the nearby reserve.

We love to come here for a picnic lunch and a hike. It's not a very grueling hike, though there are a few spots where it gets a bit steep, particularly on the eastern path. Nothing too difficult though.

There are more trails leading into the bog preserve to the north. Equally as beautiful, though extends the length fairly significantly, with a bit rougher trails.

This is a delightful, usually quiet walk in the woods. Very lush, ferns, mushrooms and moss. Beautiful cedars, streams and small lakes. Picnic tables near the entrance as well as public toilet. The trails are well marked and will loop together. Lots of parking. Not a long walk. Approximately 4 kilometres in length.
